One thing to mention.

When you talk about Malzahar you forget to tell people to dodge his Malefic Visions when it's killing the last minion in the wave. Also, if he's smart he won't use all his mana pushing the lane because Malefic Visions refunds mana when it bounces. Before you get Tear of the Goddess, he will likely have more mana than you.

No, just no. Why max e first? It deals way to little damage compare to pillar and sear. You said that it will always hit, well knowing how to hit with your skillshots is a very important aspect when playing as brand. If you cant land skillshots, than brand isnt the right for you.

E deals more damage than Sear? At level 5, Sear deals 240 damage while E deals 210. And Sears AP scaling is 65% while E is 55%, get your facts right. Sear also got a shorter cooldown, less mana cost and longer range. Its better than E in every single way.

And i dont think that archangels staff should be in here. Brand isnt that mana hungry. I would get it on champs like karthus that got a spammy skill and needs high mana late game.

Rod of Ages should be your first major item actually, it prevents you from being a glass cannon so early in the game.

Im not gonna downvote for now

I usually don't play a caster due to the fact that I get stomped and feed like a pro, but I played some Brand with this guide and it went not so bad, so, thank you sir.

Thanks!!

If you actually read the item part you should know that I dont include this item on my item list, I just give it away as a option to anyone who feels unsafe with their mana problems..
As you can see also my rune set contains mana regen, + Meditation and ingame items, I feel really safe with my mana..

It's in your core build. Core items are not situational. If you don't recommend it, don't put it in the cheatsheet. You should be using the best build for the cheatsheet and offer alternatives in the guide.

And lastly I also added the Zhonya's Hourglass into my build because i've been studying it lately and it realy seems like a better option, but still Banshee's Veil is a good item against AP heavy teams, and Zhonya's Hourglass against heavy AD teams, therefore they are both situational but one of them must be core, do you agree ? :)

No, I don't. Zhonya's Hourglass gives 100 AP and a 2 second invulnerability active as well as 50 armor. I get it on most casters, even against strong AP teams (unless I absolutely need another MR item). Banshee's Veil gives a bunch of health and mana and a spellshield in addition to the 50 MR. It can be useful for blocking spells even against a strong AD team. If there are no spells to worry about at all, you could always replace Banshee's veil. I would still consider it core though, since the build should be set up for an average mix of champions on the enemy team.

tl;dr: Both are core, though Banshee's Veil is situationally replaceable in my eyes. Guardian Angel, Quicksilver Sash or another damage item are acceptable substitutes if appropriate.

Terrible reasoning. Never use a guide's rank to justify a build's viability. There are a number of terrible #1 guides on the site and referencing them doesn't prove anything.

I do agree though that Archangel's Staff is a bad item on Brand (frankly I think it's a bad pick on most mages with only a handful of exceptions). Mana issues can be resolved between Meditation, Greater Seal of Clarity (they equal flats around lvl 6, which is when you have your nuke ready anyway. Great option to make up for a build without mp5) and diligent use of blue buff.

Archangel's Staff delays your AP as it takes a long time to build and a long time to stack the tear. The AP it gives when fully stacked can be rivaled by other items like Zhonya's Hourglass, which has a far more useful set of stats if you can afford to lose the mp5 from AA staff. It also makes you less squishy and has a super-sexy active.

You could also use a different replacement item if you really wanted. I just feel that, while AA staff does provide some good stats, it's a ton of gold for a lot of late AP and an item slot that could be used by a better item.

Anyway I won't downvote because it's not a huge issue and it doesn't devalue your guide or anything. I also just don't really downvote much.

I agree with you thats a terrible reasoning :)
But I dont really agree with you talking about Archangel's Staff..

Anyways thank you very much for the advices!!
I appreciatte!! :)
