Brand is a very good character, if fully built he can take almost anyone's health down to half, or maybe even death with his 3 spell combo...
if you are using this build you need to be paticurly good at skill shots as its the first thing you train. Sear is a very good harrasment spell if you are good with it, try and use it to keep
your enemy at bay.

Take doreans ring to begin this give you some good mana regen, health and ability power for a low level item.you then want to start building your Sorcerers shoes, these will give you the magic penetration needed.after your shoes you want to start building Rod of Ages because at the beginning of the game you are very mana dependent it will also give you some nice ability power for lower levels which will increase over the time you have it.after rod of ages you want to buy Mejajs soul stealer, you only want to buy this IF you are doing well, if you have got quite a few kills without dieing then buy it but if you are only on say 1 or 2 kills with 3 deaths theres not much point buying it, if this is the case then you may want to pick up aVoid Staff for the ability power and magic pen.after Mejajs you want to build your Rabadons death cap, the 30% extra ability power is useful especially if you already have quite a few souls stacked up.after rabadons build your Rylais crystal scepter, this is really nice for when you are chasing people because if you can get one hit on them they are slowed so you can follow up with the rest of your ability's.Buy lich bane at the end because it gives you extra mana and ability power.

I take Sear first because it is a very good harrasing spell if you are good with skill shots, try and place yourself to the sides of minions while your enemy is also along the side this gives you a clear shot without minions getting in the way, if you are not so good with skill shots you can always take Pillar of Flamethis is a good minion destroyer and also a good harrasment spell if you are good at placing it so the enemy has no where to run. always take pyroclasm at level 6 because if you are ganked it help scare the enemy if a big ball of fire launches itself at them. i find that if i use it some people literally turn around and run in the opposite direction.

Take Ghost as this is a very good spell to use when chasing or getting out of fights which are lossed. also take exhaust because if you follow the masteries i have put in it also reduce the targets magic resistance.

Please if you are using this build you do not have to follow it Exactly, if you think you need a different item to begin then buy that item, this is not a fantastic build the will gurantee you lots of kill and wins.
