Skill order is average, build is pretty decent.

I think the runes are pretty awful and your start gear is extremely lack though.

Tried it a few times, its not bad but I found its mostly useful if your team doesnt ahve a tank..It makes it really hard for Olaf to dish out damage. Once you get the atmas and the FM its not a problem anymore, but by that time most of the games are over. You need to spend 10K before you get some real damage (atmas).

So +1 for if your in need to build him tanky, but otherwise i rather have a little less defense and more damage to balance things out a little. But its good in certain situations just not a go to guide/build.

My only concern is with damage...

I guess if the team needs an offtank/tank, you could get away with a build like this and use reckless for damage and vicious strike. I'll try it out a few times before voting and giving more feeding back. I like the fact that it is different, and depending on the situation this could be very good but im a bit skeptical about the lack of damage.

@Fighter ranger: I get reckless swing because its damage is amazing and can help score me first blood and I've never seen a jungle olaf do better nor have I seen a laning do better. Your just looking at the pictures and checking whether its jungle or not; read the entire guide and see if its advice levvels out your downvote.

The build and the skilling are pretty good imo. However, you are recommending using Olaf in lane, and if you're going to do that you need to explain how to deal with lane harass. I've played Olaf enough to consider him my main, and I would never use him in lane because of his vulnerability to harass. How would you recommend dealing with someone who has good harass (and in lane, usually you'll be up against a character like this: Brand, Caitlyn, Mordekaiser, etc.)? My answer is he can't deal with it and needs to be played in the jungle, but I'd be interested to hear yours and I might switch to an upvote if you can come up with a good one.

You also don't skill Undertow first, which if you're going to lane Olaf needs to be done. It's his only ranged harass; he NEEDS it in lane. I think it's a huge mistake relying on Reckless Swing for dmg output since you need to be in melee range to use it. Without Undertow skilling, you don't have a good slow to close the distance between you and your opponent and your enemy will simply run away when you run at him/her before you can get close.

EDIT: When I said the skilling is good, I meant that's similar to how I'd skill a jungle Olaf. Not good for lane Olaf.

raises health and allows you to do ridiculous damage

it has plenty of power early game due to olaf's reckless swing, which is a low colldown nuke and thare is a dorans sheild so you can stay on the lane and get minions. thank you for the up vote any ways.

i see your point however this how i stack a offtank or a tank olaf not dps die before wreck face off. if you try the build you will see the difference thank you for your 2 cents.
