Why hello there friends I welcome you to my gangplank guide. This Guide is made for newer gangplank players that want to **** on dirty riven and yasuo players guaranteed, lost elo not refundable.

The runes I Usually take are ad reds, armor yellows, armor blues, and ad quints, I take this set up because 9 times out of 10 its a yasuo or riven that wants to rip you a new one to **** out of but you can switch out the armor blues for any type of magic resistance. I don't take Cd reduction in my runes because the armor and magic resistance is more important when you're playing bruiser gp. If you take Cd reductions you have to give up your blues and a quint which is a lot of armor and ad. In this build Cd reduction isn't as important.

My masteries may look weird to players who don't play as much gp. First I precision over intelligence. I mainly do this because the armor pen is way more helpful then 5 extra cd reduction on gp and with this build you won't even need the extra Cd reduction. Second you might ask why I take 4 points in merciless and 1 point in meditation. Simply the merciless is for more damage and meditation for better mana sustain in lane.(If you don't know how to put 1 point into a mastery its Shift click) Third I take 4 in natural talent because the ad helps gp a lot and the 1 point in vamp is personal preference.

Deaths daughter for burst, Fire at will for more aoe damage, and raise moral for a speed boost. buy in that order.

You can play it safe and farm out the lane (which is always a good and safe option) or you can poke with your q and try to outplay them with your barrels. Just remember if you go aggressive and die just once you loose the whole lane completely. Playing gp from behind is super hard especial if you playing vs a heavy burst team comp.
If you decide to go aggressive buying the corrupting potion is really good option as it gives you even more burn damage. In order to play aggressive being able to use your passive is key to gain a lead with gp. The proper usage of gp's passive can give you free kills. Try to reapply gp's passive as many times during a fight as the true damage ends up doing a lot over time.
Good times to back to base are when you can buy your items for a power spikes. Buy sheen when ever you have the gold. Then farm out till you can buy trinityforce then farm till you have 2 to 3 items and look to group with your team.
Another tip is to use your barrels to wave clear all the lanes to give your team map pressure and some extra gold.

Team fighting as gangplank is easier said than done. While grouped with you team look for to sneak a barrel into the enemy's back line or just hit them all with the barrel if its possible then just ult right after. Kite with your barrels and try to pick off the enemies.
