Introduction

Bruiser Malphite is how Malphite should be played in my opinion.

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation - Unlike regular tanky Malphite builds that do most of there damage from spells, bruiser Malphite does more of his damage from his auto attacks. Being able to hit your opponent for as much damage as you can each hit is a must so I go with Armor Pen Marks. Alternatively you could go with Attack Speed Marks and Armor Pen Quints but I prefer this way.

Greater Seal of Resilience - Malphite's E spell does bonus damage from Armor and the more armor the more tankier he is. Pretty much the only viable option for Seals.

Greater Glyph of Shielding - More magic resist makes him tankier, same as Seals of Resilience. You could alternatively go flat magic resist glyphs but with Shielding being more favorable for late game since that is when Bruiser Malphite does his best.
