This is a build on the new champ Brand, i like him alot and i always wreck with him. He is one of my favourite champs so yea hope you like this Guide.

Mid/lane

ALWAYS MID LANE!

I always take mid lane if possible, he is so good mid lane, and yea if ppl top or bot need your help, and you pushed minions good in your lane, go nuke top or bot. He is so so so good at nuking and do that as often.

If you�re Laning against a champ like Caitlyn you do wanna keep moving all the time! Because she got a skill shot that hits you pretty hard, and she have auto attacks that has one of the longest if not the longest range in the game. So yea she will outfarm you, if your not smart.

But against almost any1 else you can just harass them, and do what you want with the lane. And always remember to last hit minions you need that money.

If you can try to deny the enemy from killing your minions, level difference is a huge key to winning

Farming

Ohhh yes baby! I just love a Huge pack of minions! Its one of the best things to look at, just use your W on them and BOOM gone, and if there still are some standing use your E on a minions that�s ablaze.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence i find best is:

W > E > Q > R > E

I Harass with my W, and if I want to nuke i go for this sequence, because you get them ablaze, and then your E jumps and the your Ulti jumps faster because of your passive, And if they aren�t dead by your ulti it was because you missed with your W

In team fights is the same skill combo and it so great to see 5 people just dropping burned down, so yea stay in the background

Runes

My runes are magic pen mark

My seals are health pr. lvl just because its always good to have some hp, and he gets focused a lot so the extra hp helps a lot

For glyphs i take cooldown reduction, because the more you can spam your spells the more you can nuke

Masteries

I normally go 9/0/21, witch is the normal Ap mastery so yea, I take improven flash. But if you want ghost instead you can take that improven instead.

As every Ap champ i go for Archaic Knowledge for the 15% magic penetration, so that i with my runes and my void staff get a good pack of magic penetration.

Items

i always start with a Doran's Ring , because of the hp mana regn and the Ap, its just good for keeping mid.

Next time I go back I buy Sorceress boots, normally I have gotten Firstblood by now, but if I don�t I just buy normal boots and some hp and mana pots.

I after my boots rush Rod of ages because its an huge hp and ap upgrade, and that with Rylai's is gonna get you on about 3k hp which is quite some hp.

After Rod of ages and Rylai's I go for the deathcap, because every Ap champ just love this items, and you will se an insane increase in your ap.


Items to concider!

I you would like some Spell vamp, with the huge load of hp, take WotA instead of your banshies veil, it gives a good load of hp back, and yea with your hp you will be hard to kill.

Against Heavy Ad champs

I would buy an Thornmail just for the sake of it, or an omen, so you can take more damage and slow them with omen, or let them feel their owm medicin with the thornmail.


Against Heavy Ap champs

I would in this case keep the banshies veil, because its just epic in this case.
If you feel like taking too much damage, don't be scared to buy a Force of Nature, it gives Health regn, movement speed and Magic resistence. And it is a good item.

Summoner Spells

I normally go for ignite because it works good with your passive, i can take ALOT of their hp, and if they think they can escape use ignite and set them ablaze.

For "escape" spells i take flash or ghost, its what you like really
Sometimes flash is just a better spell.

Heal:
You can take it, but IMO its only good at early game, late game you can't really use it that much, so that�s why i would go for something else.

Teleport:
Sins your mid it could be switched out with ignite or flash if you so desire. Its up to yourself, sometimes i take it, and you can get back in to farming or push a lane so yea take it if you feel for it.

Clarity:
If you feel you loose a lot of mana, else then no, I don�t feel I need it, so up to you.

Ghost:
As i said you can change Flash out with ghost works as well, and you can go for the Flash ghost combo if you are feeling that you have a hard time fleeing or chasing.

Smite:
No No No, smite is for junglers and you are no jungler go play shaco if you want to jungle

Revive:
Guess that if you die alot you can take it. But there is a lot of better Summoner spells out there so, go take those who benefit you

Rally:
Can't see why you would take rally, sure if you want that extra damage, i just can't see why you don't take ignite then

Fortify:
Leave it to the tanks and supporters

Clairyounce:
Sure if you want to know where your enemy is

Cleanse:
Take it if you feel like you are being stunned to much


After all these spells are all up to yourself to choose i just guide you.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

He is fun
He is a great nuker
Can take some damage
Insane in teamfights
Ones you got the hang of him he is so good

Cons:
Kinda Squishy at the start
Needs mid lane
Need to last hit minions
Not that good range

Summary

So all in all Brand is a good champ, and normally i dont like playing ap champs but he is so fun to play i just can't stop :)
