Wukong's Story(optional to read)

During the chaos of the Rune Wars, an enormous runestone was lost deep within the Plague Jungles. It remained there, untouched for centuries, emanating a potent magic which infused nearby wildlife with sentience and vitality. A group of monkeys who were particularly empowered by it came to worship the stone, and their leader - a wise sage - became convinced that he could harness its power to make the monkeys immortal. He performed an elaborate ritual, but things didn’t go as he expected. The runestone was destroyed, and instead of granting immortality, it produced Kong, a monkey who carried in his heart the strength and power it had contained. Kong was driven by an unquenchable desire for greatness. He sought out every beast and monster the Plague Jungles could offer, eager to find a worthy opponent, but none offered the challenge he craved. He asked the sage for advice, and learned about a legend of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and might, had bent the world to their will.

Wukong left, journeying north, determined to discover if the legend was true. He crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. On his way, he happened upon Master Yi, who was deep in meditation. Kong asked him who the strongest warrior in the north was, and Yi told him about the League of Legends. The tale intoxicated Kong, a place where he could battle the strongest fighters in the world was, to him, paradise. Kong asked Yi to introduce him to this League, and to teach him the ways of humans, so that he could be a fitting champion. In return, he would honor Yi by using Yi's Wuju style to become the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. Guided by Yi, Wukong joined the League of Legends to prove himself as the best, and to show the world the true power of Wuju.

Items

WHY:

This item will make ur skills hit harder. It instantly increases your dmg output through your skills and also the crit chance. Instead of starting off with AS it is ebtter to start off with thsi since ur dmg will be mainly done through ur skills whish eases harassment and makes it even harder to counter wukong through thornmails.

This is great in conjunction with the first skill. And besides it contributes greatly to the burst factor of this build. We will also sue it later to make our trinity force.

This is not necessarily both at this time BUT from my experience at this point in time in the game i always needed it bot to have to go back and healing at spawn due to wukong's low hp regen. Besides it can save u during a long fight and will be sued to build Bloodthirster.

Now that everbody is building up dmg it would be the time for some extra survivability plus the slowing effect and movement speed of trinity force.

Time for more lifesteal and more dmg. now minion waves shuld be very easy to farm so stack your BT and kick some s.

This item depends aminly on the enemies and the runes u have but it is a great option at a cheap price at this point in time for wukong.

Nothing left to buy get a phantom dance which will blend nicely with your now high crit chance and get you some more move speed. Finally if you have some 2k extra gold sell your boots and get a second PD.

Summoner Spells

WHY:

EXHAUST : Exhasut is great for this cahr mainly due to his long cds, after the burst your enemy will be elft with some 1/3 hp and will try to escape so eshaust i great to get the kill. Secondly, it is great to counter enemy ad carries. And finally it is great to combine with ultimate to finish some1 off.

GHOST: Mainly for the same reasons as exhaust.

IGNITE is also an option. As of HEAL, it will be useless once u get your lifesteal or not as useful and flash is not really adequate to wukong imo considering he has nimbus strike.

Tips and Tricks

I always start with the Nimbus strike which is great for initiating a fight for the first blood + that it hits both champions at the same time so it gives u an advantage. At level 3 this char is great for harassing enemies, this is done by using Nimbus strike followed by Crushing blow and finally Decoy to escape safely. If your enemies are quick enough to hit you even u execute these 3 skills in quick succession, i suggest u use Nimbus Strike then Decoy right after and use Crushing blow and escape.

Another trick i use is when im being followed. I go in bush and wait for my enemy to enter the bush, just before he enters i trigger Decoy and jump on him after he wastes his skills on my decoy. Decoy is a very illusive and useful skill which can save you or get you easy kills if used correctly. Also regarding decoy as Phreak said, if your enemies are getting used to you decoying just press "s" and it will make them think u decoyed and they will continue chasing while u can escape the other way or wait for them to realise u did'nt decoy and then decoy while leaving ur char immobile.

Potential Tweaks

This can be chosen as a substitute for the 25% atk spd boots. If your enemies have 3 or more AP characters u shld go for this boots as it has the 25 MR and also tenacity which can be really useful.

If your enemies are feeded and u are finding it difficult to survive i would tell you to opt for this item instead of Trinity Force which gives u more survivability.

This item is useful to fill up your health in case you are either jungling some buffs or else someone in the lane is continuously harassing you. However if you are not finding yourself at low heath frquently then u probably should skip that item.

Viable, but i see it more like a waste of money towards your boots and infinity edge which really make a difference. Besides this you will have to sell it at some point so you will lose some 100 gold off it.

WHY NOT:

First off this item is strictly bought if your enemies are stacking up hp or there are more than 1 tank. Besides this for this item to be fully exploited you need to have a LOT of AS which wukong does not have.

I am seeing a lot of Wukongs buying a Warmog, however i do not agree with this choice. First off it COSTS a hella lot of gold and it takes a lot of time to max its stats. I definitely would prefer some xtra AD or AS then buying a warmog. My build is focused on the burst factor of wukong so trinity force is enough for his survivability. I fought wukongs with 1k more hp than in 1v1 and 1 won. By investing the 3k in AD and Crit items u take their 1k extra health away in 2 seconds.

This is a burst build focused on skills and withwhich is cheaper you will have enough ARP combined with your runes.

Too risky, for this item to be worth it you need AT LEAST 5 stacks. Once u die u lose 1/3 which is a lot. I think its not worth the bother. Besides this if u have this item it will make more of a target for enemies and they will continuously try to gank you, just not worth it.

Thanks for reading and thumps up if u liked it!
