Hm. I like the premise, a sort of jack-of-all-trades Warwick (can afford to initiate, can harm an enemy no matter what the circumstances, jungles) -- but I think the first poster hits the point on the head.

Jack of all trades, master of none syndrome, hard.

Your ult will deal decent damage, but not as much as a regular Warwick build would tend to. And you don't get enough AP to get over that late game 20% hurdle for Q. And you're not going to jungle fast. And you're not going to take much punishment.

However, I -do- like the concept, I think it just needs fine tuning. It could work.

Nice, some hybrid between magewick and warwick :) I haven't tested it yet but I'd say that hybrid still isn't as good as normal WW :S I'd like to see some colors on text ^^

i get blood scent at lvl 3 because i normally lane until about lvl 5 when i get madred's razor. blood scent can help give a little speed boost to chase low health enemy champs in your lane and maybe squeeze in a kill with hungering strike. If i was meaning to jungle straight form the beginning, hunter's call would probably be the best choice for the first skill.

and i agree that the AD is not quite as great as your typical dps WW, but the AS is pretty much the same if not higher than most high rated WW builds i see on mobafire. pretty much the whole concept of this build is to counter those who love to use thornmail against WW. hungering strike does 20% damage, and so that leaves about ~80% of the damage that you have to deal physically. on a champ with thorn mail and 3000 HP, that means you are taking about 792 dmg... just from the thornmail. if you take out 50% of their hp with HS and deathfire, then you will only be taking 495 damage from thornmail. I also have AD a bit lower for this very same reason. with the combination of items i have, you only need you ult to normally do 26.5% health damage (without madreds or any of that). thats not too hard to manage. anything over that would push on being overkill since HS comes last in the combo... which means you take more damage form thornmail (i really dont like thornmail, haha). but even with the lower AD, the dps is still roughly the same if you factor in that this build has more AS than most WW builds have.

and tbh, im completely comfortable with the ~60 second cooldowns on the 100% effectiveness of this build. late game, it takes about 60 seconds for people to resurrect... just in time for you to melt their faces off again. especially if you are in the enemy base and they start coming one by one at you once the respawn. WW can take on most champs 1v1 even with out his ult, but this makes it so he can basically take on two at the same time with ease. and then in between the enemy respwan, he has the AS to continue wrecking their towers, inhibs, and or nexus. i think the 60 secs is a small price to pay for taking out the other team's dps carry or tank instantly and essentially making it a 5v4 or a 3v2.

all that said, i 100% agree with what you point out, but im not sure i would agree that those are so crippling that this build doesn't work. the AS somewhat makes up for the lower AD (you can still do damage outside of the combo with the AS... also get more out of your passive)... and the lower AD is purposeful to counter thornmails.

really this is just a build i would use if i see a high hp tank on the enemy side (like cho) or if i know that a good amount of the people on the other team are going to get thornmails. there is nothing more disturbing to me when i see the ryze i just ult'd has a thornmail and before i know it im pretty much dead from the lack of healing and my own damage output. I'll edit the guide to make sure that is clear -- that this is really just to lol at people to who stack HP and to sneak around pesky thornmails.

but i appreciate the input :)

Why get a rank in Blood Scent at level 3? You won't be ganking that early, and it doesn't help you jungle at all. Frankly I'd stick with the standard "W-Q-Q-W-E" jungle skilling pattern. As for the build itself, I'd say that you try to make a hybrid Warwick but you end up with a character that really doesn't contribute that much. Regular MageWick actually kind of works because of the slow from Rylai's, the cooldown from Golem, and the ludicrous amount of damage that his Q can do - all three of these factors help each other out. Standard AD/AS Warwick is good because he's a strong ganker with Red buff, deals pretty decent damage, has a pretty good ultimate in terms of raw damage, and manages to keep himself alive with his Q. But a hybrid Warwick doesn't have the damage output from his Q while not getting Rylai's for the slow, while also not having the damage output to make a difference in game.

Consider also that your entire combo is based around your ultimate and Deathfire Grasp, both of which have 60 second cooldowns (once you get 40% CDR). This limits your usefulness to once every sixty seconds, meaning that you are practically useless in the meanwhile, with almost no damage being put out.

It's a cute concept but fails to work in real-time.
