Caitlyns weak point is the only abilitie she is a early game champ. So if you cant get kills in the early game she's pretty much usseless in mid or late game. Her strong point is her range. She can poke enemy's really easy down if you use her passive good. Her trap and net is a good escape 2. She can place a trap and than press e to escape or she can place a trap right around to corner to pick someone who's not with the team. The disadvance is that she can only set a couple traps so you need to use them wisely.

If youre against a nautilus support what's really populair these days i should start with your trap so you can place your traps everytime in the bush to see where he is and try to place your traps at the beginning of the bush so you can farm with your range in peace and if he tries to pull you that he gets trapped. Try if the adc is going in to kill you or deal some poke to place a trap under him/her so she cant move and you can walk away safely or go in with your support. Try to max your trap and piltover peacemaker first. Youre net isnt that much of a big deal if you got atleast 1 point in it. If need to excape a lot caus the enemy jungle is a pain in the but or caus the midlane/toplane is everytime bot you can max your net more.
