Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This guide will help you to assist your team, while dealing tons of damage with a good amount of sustainability late game.
WARNING: You must have amazing aim and timing with your grab for this build to work.
Pros / Cons
Pros: High DPS potential
Constantly harass in lane
Provides sustainability late game
Usually high K/D/A ratio
Cons: Not the best hyper carry in game (Ex: Tyrndamere)
Build is expensive and rarely get past Atma's
Blitzcrank has two major farming skills in his arsenal that allow him to rack gold and last hits.
Powerfist: allows him to allow him to more accurately last hit creeps due to low mana cost and double damage along with resetting his attack timer.
Static field: can quickly clear waves of creeps and an unusually low cooldown for an ultimate allows him to spam it and using overdrive to clean up the survivors.
The two main items of this build is Trinity Force and Atma's Impaler.
Atma's Impaler: This item allows you to justify getting Warmog giving you a large amount of AD along with health allowing Blitzcrank to succeed in both sustainability and DPS.
Trinity Force: Trinity goes well with power-fist allowing you to quadruple your auto attack and the zeal along with phage allows to provide more AD while building tankiness and mobility.
Ignite: This skill is useful because due to Blitzcrank's signature move, Rocket grab has such a long cooldown, they may get away before it is up again. Therefore while they are still in your reach, Ignite is a good selection.
Exhaust: Exhaust is useful for those early game turret grabs when you grab them at to your turret. Along with powerfist and exhaust. They literally have no escape from the turret.
Laning and Dueling
Blitzcrank has a good early game harass by grabbing them they CC'ing them before they react then back up with overdrive. When in one of the side lanes then you should try to immediately try and control the brush allowing you to grab them when they aren't suspecting it. It may also prove valuable to warding the brushes if you are unable to establish an early lead in the brush.
In duels however Blitzcrank can heavily use the brush to his advantage by pulling them providing an element of surprise then bursting them down. Or for juking you can overdrive, just before they enter the brush power fist them, then run into the opposite brush or where they were coming from.
When choosing your lane partner, I suggest choosing a partner that has heavy CC such as Alistar or Leona or a hyper carry that you can feed kills too and baby sit them. (Ex: Poppy)
Blitzcrank's pull is key to initiate team fights due to the enemy being forced to come to you or if you come into a team fight already in progress you can heavily disrupt them by grabbing a champion and your silence being devastating to the team while power-fist decapitates a single target.
Overall this should build/guide will allow you to win more consistently along with being amazed at how much damage you do the moment an opposing champion falls within your grasp.
