Hello and welcome to my first guide, I have recently discovered possibly the easiest way out of what summoners consider "Elo Hell!". Alister is considered a Support/jungler/ap mid?, he is in my opinions the best support and by far has the best ganking capabilities in the game.

Pro's +
+ 2 CC's
+ Ultimate that makes you take 50/60/70% less damage!!!!
+ He's a flipping Cow
+ He comes with a Free skin!

Cons -
- You cant milk those
- long cool downs on CC until Late game.
- He has a very low base mana

My choices
Flash great for positioning a Headbutt or a Pulverize
Exhaust in my opinions one of the most powerful summoner spells in the game

Other viable choices
Ghost great for ganks in lanes that are warded in combination with Mobility Boots and or Shurelya's Battlesong

Smite your going to be counter jungling alot so this is definitively a viable choice and opens up a whole bunch of things you can do like steal the enemy red at the start of the game. or get a 3 minute dragon with bott lane and your jungler.

Promote i like this spell and think its awsome for when you win a teamfight and want to quickly push down a tower and who better that the support to take it.

Ignite i dislike this spell on support for two reasons, you could Kill steal, its useless lategame. but some people like this so its still a viable choice.

Marks- Mpen or Armpen are both equally good, or a mix of both. i take these because Armor and magic resist marks arent very good

Seals- Gold generation seals are good because if you are going to be roaming with alistar then your going to be needing some extra gold to buy your nifty items/wards.

Glyphs- Scaling MR because of those scary late game AP carries, your not going to need the early MR because when you encounter the Ap carry early on they should be fleeing from you.

Quintessences- Again Gp10 Quints for the extra gold. once you have picked up 1 or 2 gp10 items this will give you a nice extra boost.

ok i recommend playing jungle Alistar but if you get that ******* in last pick refuseing to support then take support role and inform the carry that he will be soloing bott and he should be picking a good carry who can hold a lane 2v1 like Urgot or sivr or anyone with good wave clearing abilities. I suggest for first buy Boots, Health Potion and a sight ward after that you want to stay in bottom lane until you reach level 2 and have your Headbutt Pulverize combo, at this point you want to ward the river and head up to mid lane and gank through either behind there Blue buff or from beside there wraiths, NOT THROUGH THE BRUSH , you don't want to gank through the bush with Alistar because you want to Headbutt them closer to your mid rather than hit them towards the other side of the brush which is an easy flash away. Even if you dont pick up first blood you have a guaranteed flash burned or at least forced them to recall . next i suggest taking the enemy wraiths then recalling to either pick up (If you got first blood) Boots of mobility or just grab some wards. Now you want to communicate with your midlane and your jungler by this time mid should be pushed to the enemy tower and your jungler should have double buff you want to ideally 2 or 3 man gank bottom lane, this should be easy because your AD carry should be pressed at tower, bottom will guaranteed have been warded so you want to take advantage of tribrush and enter via wraiths, even if you are purple team make sure you do this.

Even though your going to be out of lane alot you should still only be a level behind the enemy support as you want to almost always take the enemys wraiths and try to have control of the enemy's buffs with the help of your jungler of course.
