I went ahead and gave it a try on a number of post level 30 matches. Most players weren't excited about it. They were rather verbal about how she can't support, But it worked out fine.

Laning phase went smoothly. By place your Q's and W's right you can get zero farm and harass the enemy team, making them pay for most of their creep kills.

Mid to late games was okay. I the added effects on the skills (slow, personal speed up, and stun) come in very handy for zoning and keeping low health targets from getting away.

It's agents the meta and pisses people off, but with the right lane partner (player and champ) it pays off.

Thanks for making the guild lolmart.

Cassio have only slow in basci abilities and hard CC only in ulti, btw Tele? On support only Heal/Ignite/Exhaust. Not tele. -1

Why Twitch isn't there as god-like adc for you?

Your Twin Fang loves any poison, including Venom Cask.

Just tried Cass as support with Caitlyn in a level 30 game. It was really fun actually. Have never pushed a tower that fast. They couldn't do anything against it. So the tower went down before level 5. Late game became a bit harder, but we won in the end.

Very interesting but just sounds like a normal pre 30 match with a double damage lane. And her poison can take kills from the carry too haha. Too little utility to be viable though, but I'm not rating cause I haven't tried it yet.

Heyho,
never thought about a Cassio support before but I like the idea especially because nobody expects it.
I agree with your ideas of this support Cassio but i have some improvements you could think about:
  • like others before said: take boots of speed because cassio is slower than other supports champs for example sona who has a speed ability
  • Next, if you decide her playing as support focus on the support abilities she has. Although getting Q and E as first abilities that allows you to deal a lot of damage I would take W as first ability. You can check brushes for a few seconds, you have a slow (supp should have CC early) and it has a nice damage too and you are able to keep your opponent off from last-hitting due to the place it blocks if the enemy dont want to get damaged

Think of these ideas :)

Nevertheless a nice guide!

Interesting idea, definitely appreciate the out of the box thinking and detailed guide. Have to be careful on a few things

1) Since Cassio more gold dependent compared to pure utility support, gotta make sure your carries (assuming they are good) are still getting the CS beyond laning phase. Don't want to halt progress on an AD/AP carry for dmg on items on Cassio. End up having mediocre dmg throughout the team or the ad/ap getting delayed GA/Hourglass. Of course if carries are away and there are creeps at your tower, yay CS scraps :)

2) Warding critical cause it seems the lanes will almost always be pushed since enemy is poked/missing CS

Cool guide, reminds me of a Zyra support. Good job!
