STOP EXPECTING VEIGAR TO TAKE A SOLO LANE

Veigar benefit alot from farming is Q early game but he's probably to easiest champ in this game to chase from is lane, SO I DONT WANT TO SOLO. Any half-decent player will chase him behind is turret and force him to spam for help until everyone as /ignore him. Veigar's slow, as low hp, he doesnt want to waste is q on champions, he got 1 stun and if he use it twice he's OOM so why would he want to be solo ...

so
HE DOESN'T NEED the exp of a solo lane
HE NEED the ap from is Q
HE NEED to be able to spam is Q (to farm AND to kill champs)
and HE NEED is mana for that

And watch with who you're lanning, you dont want to fight for minions kills

Common sense

To max your CDR fast you NEED : BOOTS OF LUCIDITY + DEATHFIRE GRASP
(and let the world know, this i not a suggestion or recommendation, YOU F***ING NEED IT)

yeah, you're veigar so by definition you're the easiest thing on the map to kill, so get the freaking ring.

It's is Veigar best friend. It was made for him, it give him:

CDR
AP
MANA REG
and hummm ... oh yeah .. MORE NUKE

so you WILL get it ...
... and BOOTS OF LUCIDITY. Not SORCERER BOOTS.

Most people will agree that you need to get boots in this game, so getting BOOTS OF LUCIDITY is the fastest/cheapest way to max your CDR. You wont miss the magic pen, you'll farm your Q to much to realize it.

Q: NO TEAR OF THE GODDESS ?
A: No tear of the goddess indeed, i dont have time to waste 1k of gold on mana. I want to farm and i want AP. Fiendish Codex, Doran , mana reg runes and my passif give me enoug mana reg. I used to make it before and when changed to this build i got 80 more ap at lvl 7 and i realise i didnt needed the mana.

Deathcap - Common sense
Void staff - PPl will get MR, that's why RIOT made void staff.

Other than that it's up to you, i'm done telling you what items you need to get.
You have all the items to need to deal the damage a Veigar should do.
Now it's all about staying alive.

why 2 points in Event Horizon ?

In my experience, your team (and you) benefit more from a longer stun than a meteor lvl 1 that will leave you manaless and do little dmg at this point.

It's really up to you.

Q: DO I NEED FLASH ?
A: yes.
if dont think you need it just leave.

Q: DO I NEED TELEPORT ?
A: you can get ghost instead but i like to teleport on wards too much to do that

Q: THIS BUILD IS ABOUT FARMING WITH YOUR Q, WHY NOT TAKE CLARITY ?
A: because you take teleport (or ghost)

1 trip to the fountain give you more mana than clarity AND IT HEAL YOU.
Getting your items ASAP also mean you won't have mana issues.

(yes you can use ghost to run back into your lane, it's not a crime)

meteor only if you have to leave the lane (seriously, stop spamming it and make your mom proud)
