I'm not Shiphtur. This is a bot APC Ziggs build guide based off of Shiphtur's Bot Ziggs. He was rank 5 Challenger at the time of this guide's creation, and has a 60% win rate with it on his main account.

This guide is not made or approved by Shiphtur, I have merely watched his stream and looked through the Ziggs games on his OP.GG, since I am a fan of the build and role.

I updated the guide in patch 8.10, but only had one mid Ziggs game to work from to make some minor changes to the build (mainly Archangel's Staff replaces old Morellonomicon as the first item).

Build
In his more recent games, Shiphtur has started building Lich Bane earlier, before Deathcap/Void Staff rather than after one of them.

Masteries
Shiphtur has changed from 18/12/0 with Deathfire Touch to 12/18/0 with Thunderlord's Decree. My guess is that Thunderlord's makes it easier to take turrets and harass enemies under turret without getting targeted because of the DFT burn on an enemy.

Skill Order
Shiphtur has switched from ignoring E until level 8 to taking E at level 4. He still uses Q to push the lane, but will use E in trades or all-ins with his opponents. Using E to push is still not worth the mana cost early.

Besides the new runes, the big things I noticed from Shiphtur's recent games are that he seems to be building Haunting Guise early, then finishing up into Liandry's second or third item, and built Zhonya's into a full AD composition.

I believe building Liandry's early is to take advantage of the lower base MR most champions have with additional magic penetration. The Zhonya's is just a good adaptation vs multiple AD threats.

I also added Dark Seal and Stopwatch to the alternative item sections. They can definitely be helful in some circumstances.

The build is definitely not perfected now like it was when this guide was first published. However, you can also look at the statistics hereto see some more stats on Diamond players who play Ziggs ADC.
