Hello all. My name is icemanSXSC2 and I am working on coming up with a good set of champions that I can use in ranked games, to fill any needed role. My idea is to have two champions for each role that will be described below.

Ideally I will eventually have a set of ten champion builds complete with explanations with links to each of them. Currently, the only build I have made is one for Katarina, but it definitely needs work. I need everyone's help with that. I'm looking for input on good champions to fill the roles I specify, good ways to play those champions, and any other helpful comments that you may feel like sharing.

Katarina

The roles listed below are not my concoction. They come from several different places I've seen them on mobafire, but specifically this one Good Champs Guide

• Ranged AD Carry - AKA: He Who Does Damage
• AP Carry - AKA: He Who Kill Steals
• Tank - AKA: He Who Never Dies
• Support - AKA: He Who Sits
• Tanky Melee - AKA: He Who Wishes He Was Both A Tank And A Carry
• Jungler - AKA: He Who Ganks

The first five roles correspond to member of the team directly one of these members (not the support) needs to also take on the role of the Jungler to make sure that experience is earned as quickly as possible.

As these are the champions I currently own I will be trying to incorporate these into my line-up first since I am IP limited.

• Akali - Played when free and liked fairly well
• Alistar - I'm hopeful that I can learn to use him as a good support [edit:]Has decided that Alistar is awesome!
• Amumu - Amumu is just the tank that interests me the most

• Annie - Tried her for a little bit and didn't really like her, might need to try more and let her grow on me
• Ashe - A friend bought me her when I first started, she's not my favorite, but I recognize how good she could be if I learned her.

• Caitlyn - A fun DPS to play, haven't tried AP yet. My first time playing her I thought yordle snap trap was the best because I kept putting them in the bushes and was laning against a stupid guy who just kept stepping on them.

• Zilean - I may go for Zilean as a support if Alistar or Janna don't work out
