This is a hard champ to theory craft with when it comes to AP. Its hard to find Items that synergize with him. I get the feeling that Urgot can only be built as AD DPS.

Masteries & Summoner Spells

This is the typical AP build. With all the caster friendly masteries in Offense, and mana/utility masteries in Utility.

I went with Teleport and Ignite. Teleport to move around fast and Ignite for that lil extra dmg when targets are low on health. You can use Ghost, Flash, or Clarity as well. I only get Ignite and Teleport since they are improved

Skills

Ive went with a farming/longevity skill build. With Noxian Corrosive Charge having 3/5 ranks by LvL6, and from there I focus on Terror Capacitor. Since these scale better with AP, Im taking thses first. I know that Acid Hunter is his signature skill, but here its used to get that last hit on creeps. NCC is what will make the build. Its got a nice dmg over time effect and with Ignite this will be a great way to burn down enemies.

Runes

Marks and Quintessences I choose Mpen here. It comes out to 14 Mpen, and thats almost half of most champs starting MR. These will help make NCC more effective in the early game. More dmg with AoE means faster farming. And since NCC will do more dmg, Acid Hunter will be great for last hitting minions.

Seals and Glyphs I went with AP here. That lil extra AP will help increase the power of NCC in the early game. Also since Terror Capacitor scales with AP, it will hold up longer.

Fiendish Codex= +30 Ability Power +7 Mana Regeneration per 5 UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 10%.
Deathfire Grasp= +60 Ability Power +10 Mana Regen per 5 Sec UNIQUE Passive: Reduces ability cooldowns by 15%. UNIQUE Active: Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 Ability Power) with a miminum of 200 damage. 1 minute cooldown.
Blasting Wand= 40AP
Pickaxe= 25AD
Gunisoo's Rageblade=+35 Attack Damage +45 Ability Power Passive: On attack or spell cast, increases your Attack Speed by 4% and Ability Power by 6. Lasts 5 seconds (stacks up to 8 times).
Blasting Wand= 40AP
Void Staff= +70 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: +40% Magic Penetration
Needlessly Large Rod= 80AP
Blasting Wand= 40AP
Zhonya's Ring= +120 Ability Power UNIQUE Passive: Increases Ability Power by 25% UNIQUE Active: Places your champion into Stasis for 2 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions. 90 sec cooldown.

Items that can be Swapped

Things like RoA and Rylia's Crsytal Scepter, and other lonvegity items. Mejai's Soulstealer is good if you are doing well enough and its not too late in game. Banshee's Vale is a great item to ensure longevity.

Game Play

Early Game
During the early game, Id take Amplyfing Tome and Noxian Corrosive Charge. This gives you 34 AP. This is great for the early game and the gank if you engage in it. How? Well with the 14Mpen and 34AP NCC will be doing great dmg. And if you are teamed with a phsyical DPS champ, the armor debuff from NCC will greatly increase their dmg. Use Ignite to get the kill ;) Upon getting LvL2, Acid Hunter is next, followed by Terror Capacitor at 3. In a few returns you will have Will of the Ancients. Since the build is simple, gives decent stats, and cheap, this will help you stay strong early game.

Mid Game
From LvL6 on you will be farming. If you can get a solo lane, thats good news. With the 3/5 NCC, you will be able to hand creeps with ease. Skill wise you will be leveling Terror Capacitor. This will help you stand in a lane longer, thus farming/Harassing will be cake. You will have only one rank in Acid Hunter, and this is for last hitting minions that NCC hasnt killed. Item wise, since you should let Kage's Lucky Pick make you some gold, you should be working on a Void Staff. It costs a lil bit more so work on it. By the end of Mid Game, you should have Will, Boots, and started on Void Staff or Rageblade. DFG is half done so finish it as you go.

Late Game
This is where things get fun. With all the Mpen in your build and great farming/harassing, you will be having to play like the Assassin that Urgot can be. This is where Teleport comes into play more ofter. A 3min CD is worth it, if you plan your ganks. It can also be used to make great use of your ult. Port to a Turret, ult, and watch them die. If the game isnt over by now, and you still let Kage's make you gold, build your Zhonya's. This isnt a heavy AP build, since the power comes from Mpen, so this will greatly increase your AP, and thus make farming more effective. Along with Terror Capacitor being more effective.

1v1 & Jungling

1v1 will be interesting. NCC will do more, and with Terror Capacitor having more durability, you will be sure to leave your mark. Odds are you will be firing Acid Hunter for the kill, but its how it works right? You will have Ignite and DFG, so things will be in your favor. With the increased AP from Rageblade, and lower CDs from DFG and masteries, NCC will have more up time. Launch the Debuff and have fun.

Jungling will be interesting. The thing about this is you might be able to Jungle early. With the increased AP from runes, the power of NCC due to Mpen, and Smite you can make short work of the jungle creeps. Im not sure where to start, but Id go with the non-buff camps first. Wraiths>Wolves>Golems. Once you get them its buff time. >Lizard Buff> Golem Buff. I suggest this order based on the camp durability. Golems have more armor so it might not be smart to take them first. Not to mention the gold value is greater that way. 4>3>2 than go to Buffs. Now from here, you can get Acid Hunter or Terror Capacitor. Either way is good, but its your choice. Of cource you need Health pots.

Ganks and Pushing as a team

Ganking is one thing that Ive seen Urgot do well. NCC+Acid Hunter mean long range killing. Adding in DFG and Ignite, you will be able to dish out great dmg. Add the DoT from NCC, and Acid Hunter's Targeting buff, you are a sniper on steroids. Not to mention Teleport lets you pop up from nowhere. Its all good stuff.

Pushing as Urgot means you only have one job. Target the carry and ult them into your team. Ulting and using Terror Capacitor afterwards will increase your durability. Since this is an AO build, you will need it. Drop NCC and nuke the carry. From there get back behind your tanks. You are a great ***est to your team, but not when you are dead.

Friends & Enemies

Stunners, Slowers, and heavy physical DPS are your friends. Taric, Nasus, Garen(even though lore says you hate each other), will provide great results in lane. Morgana at your side will provide heavy lane dominace. Both with AoE spells, creeps will die fast, and you can push.

Heavy phsyical DPS is your enemy. You can harass them well, but if they get close, you better run or be ready to fight. But Im sure you can manage. With your passive lowering incoming dmg, Terror Capacitor, and the buffs from HKPR, you should be fine. Nothing kills faster than Fear.
