Introduction

Hello everyone, in this guide I will be teaching you how I play, Lee Sin the Blind Monk, in Jungle and Lane.

Lee Sin is a very mobile and durable champion, he also has the most unique skill set. I play him very tanky so I can protect those softer than me, while still being to dish out a fair amount of damage.

I have tested many different builds on him and what works for me is the one above. I've played him glass cannon in lane and in jungle. I've played him a bit more tanky in lane with only Trinity Force as my damage item.

Runes

I use armor pen marks to help with my jungle times and to help dominant the lane. Mix the ArP marks with Last Whisper and thats all the ArP you need.

For seals i use flat armor to get that early armor for the jungle and does help a little in lane at lvl 1.

Glyphs I use Mr pre lvl only because you don't face a lot of ap until early mid game which is when you really start to feel it.

Quints i personally prefer the flat hp runes for the extra hp in the jungle and lane i find it very effective for me mix the quints with the masteries and if you buy a doran's shield as your staring item you'll have 771-hp at lvl 1

Masteries

9-21-O is what I personally use I'm looking at the utility tree a bit more now and I'll be experimenting a it with those before I give my feedback

items

When jungling I start with cloth armor and 4 health pots and later build that into a wriggle's lantern for obvious reason. Then I'll immediately start building my merc treads for the tenacity and Mr resist. I build a tryn force for the slow ms and other bonus stats and promptly build an Atma's which give you nice armor and some crit chance. At this point I feel like i need more resist weather it was armor or Mr so I build an Aegis of the Legion and if I need more Mr I'll buy a Force of Nature then sale my wriggle's for an infinity edge (force of nature is a situational item replace accordingly based on what your up against)

Skill Sequence

I start with me E tempest/cripple laning and jungling for the AoE damage and the slow that comes in handy in the jungle and lane.
*IMPORTANT ALWAYS SPACE OUT YOUR ABILITIES TO MAXIMIZE DAMAGE OUTPUT AND ENERGY REGEN THIS IS KEY TO LEE SIN.

At lvl 2 i take Sonic Wave/ Resonating Strike or Safe Guard/ Iron will depending on how I'm doing in lane.

In the jungle i take W second then Q 3.

In lane you want to max Q out first you can also start with it at lvl 1 for the harass

I usually max W last but you can max it second and max E last seeing the lvl 1 E slow is enough to secure kills and if you take exhaust that will help too

Max your Dragons rage at 6,11,16

Summoner Spells

I take smite and exhaust when jungling.

smite makes things easier even in the new jungle always take smite its not just to help you get through creep camps faster but helps get buff for your team mates and helps with dragons and baron.

exhaust makes things easier when ganking tell your team mates to engage the enemy or let the enemy push up run out exhaust and work your magic. in lane you can use it offensively and defensibly. It can and will help you in 1v1 situation it slows and if you upgrade it in the mastery tree it will decrease the damage the enemy dishes out.

OPTIONAL SUMMONER SPELLS

Teleport is good if you want to be a ninja and tele in on a ward at a bush and surprise the enemy or to get you to a lane that needs to be held. other than that don't take it

Heal-you can if you want I've seen people take smite heal on lee sin and even on warwick heal has been buffed and if you invest in it in your mastery page it can change the out come of a team fight but be prepared to be called a pus I wouldn't recommend taking heal leave it for the support.

Flash- flash is a very good summoner spells and i would recommend it. It is interchange able with exhaust depending on your personal preference. Flash helps you get around over walls and in position to gank or to flash ahead of of your enemy to use your Dragons Rage to kick them back to your team for the kill.

Clarity- ONLY THE GODS OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CAN USE CLARITY TO IT'S FULL PURPOSE AND UNLESH HELL ON THE ENEMY. IF YOUR NOT PRO THEN DONT TAKE IT!!!

Garrison-screw dominion

Ignite-this annoying spell s quit helpful it curves healing and you can kill enemies when low enough and you get the benefit of walking away feeling like a bad-*** while the enemy is raging.

Revive-really.......uninstall

Promote-useless for jungler and useless in lane

Ghost-A great gap closer and escape tool but keep in mind you cant go through walls.

laning

Lee Sin is a very strong top laner his harass is great with Sonic Wave/ Resonating Strike and Tempest/Cripple. Lee Sin's sustain is great in lane as well Safe Guard/Iron Will will help you stay in lane longer enabling you to get a good cs and back when its time to buy higher price items in one shot instead of buying in chunks. use exhaust and flash to you advantage. exhaust enemies when they are close to your tower to initiate and get them back or keep going for the first blood or kill. flash ahead of enemies to ulti them back to your team mate picking up the kill.

jungling

Start at wolves while waiting for blue to spawn then move on to blue you can either give it up to your ap team mate or take it. then move to wraiths you should be lvl 2 now if not move on the mini gloems once lvl 2 you can gank or continue to jungle its your choice I like to get an early gank off mostly because its not expected as much a lvl 4 gank. when you gank flash,W,or Q in to gank use tempest then cripple to get the slow off for your ally to get some free hits. Just because you didn't get the kill doesn't mean it was a waste of time. If the enemy waste a flash or barley manages to escape and have to go to base you just put the lane you ganked ahead and they'll miss out on exp and gold. Remember to counter jungle take blue or their red with the new jungle players are more reliant on red and blue buff or exp not counting kills and assist. be very careful when counter jungling if the enemy jungler shows up and you start face rolling him most likely his team mates are going to come to help.
