Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
When laning with a partner, you should really not have any problem bullying the enemy team out of the lane, especially with a cc champ (ie malphite). If the enemy laners are scrubs they may not check bushes, if they dont my partner and I gank out of bushes, focus an opponent with our cc items, and exhaust, they can no longer move and you get first blood. You will both take some damage from the other laner but they will likely retreat because they will most likely die. If they dont fall for the bush trick play meekly and get them to push up a little bit, harass them every once in a while with rupture to get their health down. when they push far enough rush them cc them to hell and kill them, then proceed to mop up some minions for your passive. Proceed to push the lane this way and you will soon bully out the lane.
If you're solo laning play defensively, your shouts can easily take out waves of minions and keep them from your turret, when you level to 6 save your ult and ensure you have 200 mana. you may be at about 60% health let them tag you under your tower, get the turret aggro, rupture exhaust feast, you will be near death at this point so retreat and go spend some money, your turret will take some damage by the other laner (you will most likely be up against a duo) return to turret hit a rupture and shout to take out a siginificant chunk of health, sweep up minions and return to the preious semi defensive position. by now you should have catalyst and some boots, keep landing harassment ruptures and shouts on both minions and champs (get the minions for your health) when you have your feast back rupture shout feast (they should be at about 60-75 health from harassment) when you have mobility boots and catalyst or RoA, now you can start pushing and bullying your lane (cho is squishy at the start) don't bully too hard as you'll get ganked, when you clear your lane tag enemy tower while watching the map, watch for missing enemies and leave when you see the laners coming back.
By now you should have Athene's Grail and either have or be working on Frozen heart, you should have 6 stacks so you should be nice and tanky. Don't go in by youself but wait for a few teammates, do as much dmg as possible with your nuke rupture and scream, maximizing the AoE damage of shout and rupture. the enemy team will probably start to run, heres where the boots come into play, you can chase the enemy team down just enough to land a rupture, allowing your team or yourself to close in for the kill (depending if you have feast) finish frozen heart and start working on rylai's for the extra health, finish with zhonya's or rebadon's deathcap ( zhonya's if you want the extra armor, deathcap if you want alot of raw AP)
Because of your raw size and nuking ability your going to get alot of focus (even skilled players will either want to or accidentally click the big monster) melee champs like yi are easily nuked with feast which may not kill but will take them out of commision and force them to leave the fight. When your pushing towers, you can easily tank for your team v towers and take them down easily, i can normally get away with inner mid turret and base turret before i have to base, base spend some money on your late game items and return to the fight.
If the teams are very evenly matched late game, but your team has the slight upper hand, you can dive the nexus turret or nexus by acquiring lich bane and deathcap, burn as many abilities as possible and keep hitting the objectives with your melee, i burned my feast on a champ to hit the nexus and took out about an inch and a half of nexus health.
