Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is my first build and I think this is the most effective way of Cho'Gath to dominate a game.
Ghost: Very variable summoner spell that helps to do pretty much anything.
Clarity: Since u're really thirsty at early game and u need the extra mana to surprise burst an enemy.
Tear of Goddess: To start getting your Archangel's Staff and also have a good reason to spam your ****. [I'd prefer to start with a Meki Pendant to get 2 pots of mana with you]
Sorcerer Shoes: Should be obvious
Archangel's Staff: Awww. I personally think this is the best item for every AP-Champion.
Mejai's Soulstealer: Since u should have more HP than pretty much anyone else and your ghost+rupture will make it REALLY hard to keep up with you.
Leviathan: To get even more HP and synerge with your feast.
Abyssal Scepter: Again the great great penetration + extra dmg.
Warmongs or another Archangels' Staff: I personally choose Archangels to get my burst-dmg even higher but some people prefer to tank instead of killing - especially with no other fighters or tanks in the team.
Please choose to solo - Cho is a great tank and carry.
Constantly harass the enemy with your rupture and try to push so u can move to the bottom-lane to gank-burst those poor fellows. Go back only if u've got your Tear Of Goddess ready. That task shouldn't be that hard since u've got Clarity + 2 Mana Potions.
Mid Game: Just keep on ganking and pls dont underestimate your damage. Even if u're escaping - just go to the next bush, rupture+faceshout+feast. It's always better to damage the enemys like hell and give your mates those important 2 or 3 seconds so you guys can get the kill instead of running and maybe survive.
By now you should also have enough output to kill a whole creep wave with Rupture+Scream, never forget that it heals you so try to get them into your AOE of your skills while fighting
Late Game: You should be the biggest ****ing tank with the biggest gun in town. Have fun pushing and winning the game if u even came that far.
He's quite easy to play but one should not underestimate the dmg output of DPS or other bursters. And since this build is a bit leaning on Mejais you better take care of 'em.
