Ok so i know that it says over 9000 but 7000 would be more viable. This build is all about massive amounts of health.

I chose the runes that i did because the items that i buy in game don't really do much for you in terms of armor or magic resist. Also they give a pretty big edge early game for tank Cho'gath. If you can hit level 6 before the enemies then you are doing good.

Ok so once again, this set of masteries gives more damage control that is not gained by your items. Also taking the experience from utility and the boost to your exhaust will make you more helpful to your team.

Ok so this is my favorite part. Cho'Gath is already a health tank so i decided to build on that. The regrowth pend. helps with early game laning allowing you to stay in lane longer. the merc treads will reduce your CC and give you MagRes. They are the only item you will buy that does this and are very valuable.

Next you have the Warmog. This item is a blood thirster for health. a few minion kills your at over 1200 health from one item!

now the leviathan. This is a cheap but probably the second most important item. the added health is great but the key is getting to 20 stacks if possible. The added effect of 15% reduced damage is amazing on this build.

Now the atma impaler. So obviously your not getting ant AD or AP items in this so you might be wondering how you can fight. This baby is the key item for this build. The armor and crit is great but the passive 2% health to AD is amazing. It's only 2%? When this build is finished you can have up over 7000 health. In case you aren't good at math, that translates to 140 extra AD! There is no item in the shop that can get that high.

I know the frozen mallet might look weird on Cho'Gath but it works. The slow proc is a good CC for fights and the extra health and AD is nice also.

This last item i think should be situational. If the other team has a nuker that is tearin up go for a banshee veil. If there is a AD/AS carry that is giving you problems throw on a thorn mail. If there isn't anything special you have to worry about i prefer to throw on another warmog and jack that Health up OVER 7000!!!

So here's the overview. Lots of health, extra CC, and hard as **** to be taken down. try it out see if you like it. A little warning you will probably need some good team mates to pull this build off to its potential.
