Hello welcome to my first guide and the guide of my favorite champ Cho'Gath.
As I have never made a guide before It may not be the highest quality guide you have seen but I will try my best to Improve it.

Pros + Tanky. + Decent Clear Time. + Good Ganks if you can land Rupture. + Can shut down the enemy team with his silence. + HE IS HUGE AT LVL 18. + Feast and Smite make it easy to steal buff's, dragon and baron.

Cons - Slow. - Useless if you miss Rupture and Feral Scream. - Long Cool-down's. - Dependent on Feast stacks. - Sometimes lacks the damage to kill people late game 1v1 if you don't buy much AP.

These Runes are what I find personally find the best choice for the job at hand.

• Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed: I take these on Cho'Gath as he is naturally slow and you will find it hard to gank without them.
  
• Greater Mark of Attack Speed: Works well with his Vorpal Spikes as he will be doing fast AoE Damage.
  
• Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: These are taken so we can take a few AP items without having to sacrifice MR.
  
• Greater Seal of Armor: Same as MR runes we take these to be more tankier whiles doing damage.

These masteries like the runes are personal preference so if you like to take different masteries take them.

These masteries give you a bit of extra AP and CDR whiles also giving you a bit of extra survivability.

These Boots are bought if they have a lot of CC/AP. If they have a lot of AD you can get Ninja Tabi.

This is built as for it cheap price it gives a wide range of stats.

Well your going to end up getting an aegis so why not just upgrade it?

More HP? Sure HP is one of the most OP stats in S3 ATM.

More AP and Tankiness? Yes please!

HP, MP and AP. What else would you want?

We max Vorpal Spikes first as it will make your jungle speed faster and you will be doing more damage. Next we max Rupture making it do more damage. Finally we max Feral Scream this is maxed last as all that changes is the mana cost.

In Team fight's your main role will be to tank the enemy whiles trying to peel the enemies of your ADC. You will try to get as many of the enemy team with you Rupture and Feral Scream hitting them may be the difference between your team winning or losing the fight.

The Path I take is ancient golem > wolves > wraiths > elder lizard > golem

Overall Cho'Gath is a viable choice in ranked play but is rarely picked due to stronger, faster junglers been available. He is extremely good at counter jungling post level 6 due to Feast. His ganks are strong if you can land Rupture also you can totally shut down some champions with Feral Scream which silences the enemy.
