Early Game

For early game you want to focus on farming, being sure to get the last hit whenever possible, even at the cost of getting poked, this is so you can get your passive off multiple times to waste your opponent's time and effort, you must not fear getting poked with this build, eventually your opponent will stop trying to poke you, seeing that you just get all your health back.

Guide Top

Mid Game

If you have done well early game, then mid game you will be aggressive with your poking, this is to ensure that your opponent will get the idea that there is no way of beating Cho'Gath, as he is incredibly bulky by nature with a load of sustain due to his passive, which is similar to trundle except it gives mana, be sure to ward the jungle near your lane, as junglers will try to gank you, and Cho'Gath can be highly vulnerable to ganks if his skills are on cooldown, you will also ult minions whenever you dont have 6 stacks of feast and the enemy is on high health, otherwise kill him unless he stays under tower.

Guide Top

Late Game

Late game you will want to use your ultimate sparingly, as it does near 700 natural true damage to enemy champions, which will be nearly half of a marksman's health, also stay with your team unless a tower is being pushed in the background, then stop whoever is pushing.

Guide Top

Runes

For Runes you are going to want straight armor marks and percent health seals, magic resist glyphs, and scaling armor quintessences, the low amount of magic resist is due to how long you can keep your opponent from using skills, so they will be forced to basic attack if they want to do any damage at all.

Skill Sequence

First you want to max your spikes, this is to ensure that you can last hit creeps and get a bit of free poke off on your enemy, then you will max the silence, this is due to the fact that it silences them for a decent duration (around as long as Garen's Q), scaling up with skill level unlike Rupture which just scales damage, this is a tank build so always level Feast when you are able to, and only level Rupture when you must

Guide Top

Farming

All you need to do to farm is last hit minions, taking advantage of your missile damage and passive, do not bother dodging most skills as your passive will heal you by a significant amount (2 to 3 creeps will heal you for a whole poke early game), farming is a big deal with this build, and you must be confident that you can take your enemy's poke damage, as you should be able to.
