Excuse me for assuming that you'll never get an expensive item like Zhonya's after your core build in a regular game...

The survivability items you've chosen are what any regular tanky caster takes (or super squishy ones too, for that matter). Unfortunately Swain or Cassiopeia (for example) do decent damage whereas you do ****ty damage.

It's still an applicable argument and even if you don't think my first argument is correct, you should at least have the ****in respect to read the rest, of which is valid criticism of this meh build.

If you look at what items the build has you will notice that the zhonya's hourglass gives armor and you get magic resist from the chalice of harmony and the lich bane, so the first part of your argument is incorrect. Thus you are troll voting

I don't get it.. it's an AP build with no resistances... but you don't max Sapling Toss (your best ability)? If you're not maxing your main damage, why are you building AP?

If you want lots of disruption, you might as well build pure tanky and CDR and base your Maokai on Arcane Smash and as many Twisted Advances as you can. If you want AP then Sapling Toss has just got to be maxed first (even in my tanky build I max it, because it's great for early kill snowballing).

quite good guide, but i dont like the combination of clarity AND chalice. I think, u should've at the most one of it. If u need more mana items, id recommened Frozen Heart instead.

good guide to make pictures use double square brackets '{{<enter name>}}' but you don't hold down shift.
