Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot and post my new build. I've been experimenting with smite because of it (and the ultra fast jungle clear), but regrowth pendant may be the most solid answer to date.

Nice jungler guide. But with recent news about Doran's items being too expensive, the nerfing of health runes, and the nerfing of the mastery "veteran scars" i find an alternate strategy helpful. Use regrowth pendant and a health potion. Unless they plan on nerfing that item i find it's great for nunu as he can still take blue early without verteran scar masterie or armor runes. :) This can help build to FoN later on or it can be used to rush philosopher's stone and heart of gold for a lot more money and to be built to Randuin's Omen later on.
