  • LoL Champion: Nocturne

  • LoL Champion: Nocturne

Introduction

Hi and welcome to Creeping The Enemies, a Nocturne Lane and Jungle Build.
Has in all my builds, i always prefer to show and Off-Tank Option. In this build i focus on Attack Damage with the combination of Attack Speed. The main item i focus is Bloodthirster. With this build, you have the option to go lane (Team 1), or to jungle (Team 2).

Runes

For runes, i take Greater Seal of Armor and Greater Glyph of Magic Resist are just so that you can old your lane better.

The choice of Greater Mark of Desolation and Greater Quintessence of Desolation it's because, Nocturne is an assassin, and, combining Attack Damage, Attack Speed and Armor Penetration seems to be a great option.

Masteries

In my normal build, i choose to go full Offense, joining with a bit of Defense for durability.
In my jungle build, i stay full Offense but instead of cooldown reduction and make more damage to turrents, i choose to give extra damage to minions and monsters. I keep that bit on Defense, but instead of health regen and health, i choose to take less damage from minions and monsters, and to return some of the damage.

+ One of the most unique ultimates ( Paranoia)
+ Excellent duelist

Cons:

- Almost always focused
- Paranoia has a pretty low range on first level
- Duskbringer and Shroud of Darkness may take some practice to pull off consistently

Abilities

Umbra Blades
Every 10 seconds, Nocturne's next attack strikes surrounding enemies for 120% physical damage and heals himself for 15/20/25 per target hit.

Nocturne's basic attacks reduce this cooldown by 1 second.

Duskbringer
Nocturne throws a shadow blade that deals 60/105/150/195/240 (+ ) physical damage and leaves a Dusk Trail for 5 seconds. Enemy champions hit also leave a Dusk Trail.

While on the trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and gains 15/20/25/30/35% Movement Speed and 15/25/35/45/55 Attack Damage.

Shroud of Darkness
Passive: Nocturne has 20/25/30/35/40% bonus Attack Speed.

Active: Nocturne creates a magical barrier for 2 seconds, which blocks the next enemy ability.

If an ability is blocked by the shield, Nocturne's passive Attack Speed bonus doubles for 5 seconds.

Unspeakable Horror
Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing 50/100/150/200/250 (+1) magic damage over 2 seconds. If Nocturne stays within range of the target for the full duration, the target becomes feared for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s).

Paranoia
Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision for 4 seconds.

While Paranoia is active, Nocturne can launch himself at an enemy champion, dealing 150/250/350 (+ ) physical damage.

Items

Regular Build

In my assassin build, i choose to start with a Doran's Blade, but instead, you can start with a Vampiric Scepter like i do on my jungle build. For boots i choose Berserker's Greaves because one of the best things nocturne can have, in my opinion, is attack Speed. Next i aim for Bloodthirster for the lifesteal and the Damage. After getting Bloodthirster, i choose to go for Black Cleaver for attack Speed, damage and armor decrease on your enemies. In my Off-Tank build i choose to put the Madred's Bloodrazor instead of the Black Cleaver because the Madred's Bloodrazor gives you the attack speed and damage, but instead of the decrease in armor, it has the great passive. My next item is Phage to start to build the Frozen Mallet that let's me stick to the enemy champion. Next to Phage i choose a B. F. Sword to start to build my Infinity Edge, for greater Damage. My last item that i buy is the Spirit Visage so that my lifesteal may give me more health and for a little more base health.

Jungle Build

In my jungle build i start with a Vampiric Scepter and aim for the Wriggle's Lantern, but before, i get Boots to jungle faster and then get the Berserker's Greaves. In my off-tank option, i choose to get the Madred's Razor and don't buy the Wriggle's Lantern, i wait to get Bloodthirster and only next i get the Madred's Bloodrazor. In the not off-tank, instead of the Madred's Bloodrazor, i get the Black Cleaver. My next items are the Frozen Mallet and the Infinity Edge. In the not off-tank, i have all my items with the Frozen Mallet and the Infinity Edge but in my off-tank option, i am one missing and i believe that thanks to the Spirit Visage passive, i gain the additional health recovered from the lifesteal, since in the other build i have the Wriggle's Lantern that combining with Bloodthirster, gives you a lot of lifesteal.

Summoner Spells

I believe Flash and Exhaust work very well with Nocturne, since the Exhaust let's you finish off the enemy champions faster and the Flash let's you get close to them easier and also helps if you need to escape.

You can also use Ignite instead of Exhaust if you prefer to be able to finish off your enemies in case they use flash and you can't get to them.

Ghost is also a good choice if you think that your Nocturne needs speed instead of being able to jump away of tight places quickly. Ghost also let's you get to your enemies faster or if your enemies are pushing or you need to help a teammate,
Ghost may let you get to him faster or get to the turrent where they are pushing faster.

For the jungle, i take Smite for a obvious reason, because it deals the damage to minons and monsters.
