Notes on Crit Thresh

Jungle thresh if built with damage has a higher clear speed than one would expect and can easily stack up his feral flare. Thresh excels in base damage and therefore his early ganks are extremely strong. You typically want to start at the buff closest to bot lane then wraiths to your second buff and gank top or mid. Take the longest route around and start with an autoattack to apply red buff, then flay, then death sentence. This combo is almost a guaranteed flash or kill. You can also camp a bush and try to do a fog of war hook, lanterning in the allied laner. Once your static shiv is complete, your crit-shiv-flay passive should be half their adc's health and bot lane ganks should be super easy. He also scales into late game well because of his passive since the bonus ap helps with his burst damage.

Items

You have to start with hunters machete and 4x health potions. Then after your first back buy a mandreds razer and start building towards the wriggle's lantern. Do not prioritize farm, your clear speed is very slow before your static shiv and farming should done after ganks. Then buy boots for extra speed or an avarice blade for bonus gold. Then complete your core items: Berserker's Grieves, Statikk Shiv, and Infinity Edge. With the two remaining slots you can choose your defensive items, or even go for damage such as a Phantom Dancer, Bloodthirster, or Last Whisperer.
