Introduction

In this guide you will learn a little more how Gangplank works.

Gangplank is a very strong champion and is very annoying to lane against of you aren't prepared to face him.
Gangplank also has a global ult that can change the winner of a team fight if placed in a good spot.
Gangplank's passive is one of the more noticeable passives in the League of Legends. It is similar to a phage but it also has a small magic damage dot that stacks and can really hurt someone who takes enough hits.
Gangplank can farm great with his Q.
Gangplank can eat oranges and make it k!

Remember that this guide is just a few guidelines and what i like to use as Gangplank.

Runes

RUNES ARE DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON YOUR ENEMIES!!! THIS IS JUST WHAT I USE AS A DEFAULT FOR SOLO QUEUE!!!

Both armor pen or flat AD work, personal preferences!

0.5% more damage or 2 armor pen.

Summoner Spells

Flash - BEST
Ignite - Great spell to finish people off and ignite also reduces healing!
Teleport - Get back to lane faster!
Surge - Don't really need it but it will hurt if you do!
Heal - Not bad, but you need to be pumping out damage!
Ghost - Good in team fights!
Exhaust - Shuts down AD carries!
Cleanse - You have oranges!
Clarity - ...No.

Early/Mid/Late

Early - Use your Parrrley and win. Don't forget to ward. Pretty normal lanning phase.

Mid - Use your Cannon Barrage for skirmishes and team fights or to defend a tower.

Late - Ward Baron. Use all your spells as needed.

During the whole game you need to farm as much as possible (LAST HIT WITH PARRRLEY) while still being useful to your team. Gangplank is one of those champions that is very strong for the entirety of a match so make sure your always doing something.

Team Fights

Auto attack the closest person possible, you can dot each person to slow them down if you need to protect your AD carry. You can use your Parrrley on their AD carry to zone them out. If you get low or stunned use your Remove Scurvy to remove the CC and always kite with your Parrrley, while always using your Raise Morale. Use your Cannon Barrage on choke points to space them out, if they run through it make sure it's put in the right spot to do as much damage as possible.

If you have flash up stay around the fight and use Parrrley. If you are our of mana and can't go in for an auto attack, just go back if you're also at low health.
