You barely got armor or MR to call him a tank! Also you barely doing some dmg. WTH is that mix?

sorry you feel that way theAvant but have you tried my build or are you just looking at it and assuming that? because to be honest he has a lot of damage and every time I play against other Darius's who build phantom dancer and all that they die to me. also look at atmas. tons of health = tons of damage...

My dear friend, I know how to play Darius and I do play it and I got my own build, I play him as you but with more damage. What you ppl dont know that you don't need armor and MR on him because giving him Health and Regen makes him scary enough. Add him more damage and you will get the Tanky DPS you want. Playing him as a tank that kills? doesnt sound bright at all

on top of that the lower health thanks to maw of malmortius gets you more damage. you sure didnt read my guide and just downvoted it for no reason.

I don't particularly like regrowth jungle on Daruis because I feel lit gimps his damage a bit too much, and since he has a very high burst combo, I feel like wriggles is the better choice in the early game. You do however get the shurylea's which makes the regrowth work, so I can't really complain there.

My main gripe is the boots. AS boots are awful for darius. He is not an auto attacker. Sure his auto attacks apply his passive and stack up damage on the enemy faster, but merc treads or ninja tabi are far superior on him. He doesn't really benifit from the AS, so getting him tankier is more useful. His W already resets his swing timer, which gives him the second instant auto.

So basically no vote. I don't want to upvote it since I don't approve of the boot choice, but I don't really think it deserves a down vote.

Thanks for the input! yeah I'm looking into what to add as far as a replacement. I do find myself sometimes taking merc treads. or even mobility just for the fun of moving like a beast! Depending the builds of teams I change it up any suggestions are welcome I plussed rep for the explination of your neutrality!

I feel darius should not be played as a tank. -1.

hmm did you just look at the items and not pay attention to the full defensive tree spec? or do you have a build of darius that you just downvoted mine to not compete with yours? cuse the warmogs atmas spec isnt a tank its an offtank/damage spec. I take atmas and warmogs for survivability and damageoutput with maw.

I hope you dont build him infinity edge and phantom dancer. look at my intro for reasons why that isnt logical. the only thing he would be doing is critting with hit. and his passive deals magic and can be chopped short with attacking to fast like how teemo was before. He dosnt need armor pen his passive is 25% armor pen.

I like this build in theory, and seems to work in case your team lacks a true tank. However, I'd suggest giving alternative items in case you already have stuff like a huge Nautilus jungler and an Alistar support.

Also, you have some grammar mistakes needing to be checked ;)

I upvote because i think the way you suggest building him is really good.
Also incorporating Malmortius earlier makes it more effective. Really liked it.
