Darius is the strongest melee champion I've played. But he requires some practice, compared to for example Master YI. Here is some tips.

Since Darius is kinda Squishy early, and the fact that he is melee makes it even worse. So therefore I have choosen Magic Resist per level Glyph and Armor seals, I think you could figure it out, if you dissagree, its fine, it is just my recommendation.
As Quints, I reach for the Armor pen, because it will increase the damage you do and really helps all they way through your game.
As marks you will need Attack damage. When you have a boost early game with more attack damage, you will probably lasthit better, way better!
The armor penetration marks is also good. but let me remind you that you cannot be prepared for much damage, you will have to wait untill you get items before you see the real effect of armor penetretion.

Let's start with the boots, they are very optional, it strongly depends on who you are laning against. My recommendation on almost anyone is Mercery Treads, they are really good in so many ways, I personally buy for the tenacity (The magic resist is also good).
If you play an AD Carry late game, you probably bought phantom dancer or maybe recurve bow.
And let me tell you that you won't even notice the attack speed from berserker greaves late game. So what I am saying here is that you should swap Berserker greaves with Mercery Treads.

Trinity force is great on Darius, the 150% crit after an ability is incredible on him, since Darius's abilities is spamable it works out great. Also the slow is amazing (When you chase a guy and thinks that "ah man he is too fast, HOT DAMN, the trinity secured my kill")

Madreds Bloodrazor is good on him because you should be in the middle of a teamfight and also one of thoose who survives, and then you want to able to do some dmg on the tank too, with frozen mallet they shouldn't be able to get away eiter.

Phantom Dancer is good in so many ways. Darius has no natural escape, therefore he needs a bunch of movementspeed, Darius will alse get pretty fast with Trinity too.
The critchance is great, you will do double dmg on enemies and that's pretty much it!

Since you are in the centrum of a teamfight you want to be tanky, Randuins Omen is great for offtanks and tanks. For example: you stand within 3 guys that does sick dmg, you wanna low that dmg down by activating Randuins Omen.

Frozen mallet is insane on Darius, this item doesnt just make you tanky as hell, it also slows enemies down by 40% on each basic attack. Darius only has one spell that makes him able to catch up with enemies.

There are additional items you can buy if you want to. If you want to help out midgame with Aegis, you go do that, as a jungler you should be able to support some.

Skill Sequence

You gonna wanna Max your Q spell first, it is a good damage output in fights and is also great for farming and clearing minionwaves. Second you max your W, you will slow the target you **** more and you will dead additional damage, and your E doesnt do **** but pulling enemies to you, so you want to take 1 point at it.
Because of the damage output from the ultimate you will have to max it whenever you can.

Summoner Spells

Here you are free to choose whatever you want really, I like flash and ignite on most solo top champions, because in an 1v1 fight that will happen alot you will need ignite to remove your opponents lifesteal. It is also good for securing kills. Exhaust is also a good options, will help your jungler with better ganks top lane

Creeping / Jungling

When you jungle Darius it is importalt to don't counterjungle, this will end up chaotic. Darius have no good escape so therefore you won't be able to escape out of the enemy jungle if you get spottet.
Good counterjunglers:
Udyr, Shyvana Nunu

Jungle Route: I would recommend to take the normal route (Blue, wolfes, wraiths, golems, red)
You can try to do something else but, you need blue for the CD and mana, this makes you a faster jungler and better ganker.
