Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm ThatOneGuyTony, and this is my Darius The Hand of Noxus Guide. I worked hard to make this guide the best I could, and I would appreciate any and all feedback that you guys may provide. This guide is basic, quite aggressive I guess, but there's plenty of situational items and it's really up to you how you build him. Also i will be fixing and stuff on this guide here and there and Adding things to it so come by every few days to see new thing that Can and May help you improve your Darius Gamplay.

Summoner Spells

Flash Really good choice for Darius, because he doesn't have any escape abilities, so this will save your life several times. Flash can be used over walls and small obstacles, but remember that it will only teleport you to your cursor location or towards it, if you're out of range. Ignite Really good choice for Darius for the reason that it works great with your passive ability.It stacked with Hemorrhage makes it a Super DOT Exhaust This really F's over enemies during duels and helps when chasing enemies a lot and lets you stack Hemorrhage on your opponent, for your ultimate to finish them off, if you are going 2vs2 at bot lane with AD carry, Exhaust will deffinately help you guys out and hopefully pick-up the first blood.

SPACE

Ghost Really helpful for especially ganking and escaping, but shines when chasing enemies. I usually take this summoner spell with other junglers, but it's very effective for Darius also, because you need those basic attacks & abilities to stop the enemy from escaping and stacking your Hemorrhage Cleanse SUCH a underrated skill. It is one of the best summoner spell in my opinion.If you are going to use your ultimate to kill someone and if you get stunned/slowed/snared/knocked up, etc you can forget about that kill.Also when you get into a team fight you are CCed like crazy, that is when you pop Cleanse. Heal I'm not really fan of this spell, but it's incredibly often seen in PvP. Heal is your life saver, just like Flash. You don't get full hp from this spell but you are given quite a bit of hp, to counter your enemy, save your life and maybe even pick a kill

The Items That are great for Darius

Lets start out with boots i like Berserker's Greaves for Darius because it increases his attack speed by 25% which helps put Hemorrhage to do more damage

Frozen Mallet which helps Your basic attacks slow your target's Movement Speed by 40% for 2.5 seconds so you can keep the damage output on them

Randuin's Omen which will also slow the targets movement speed and give you armor and health regen

Infinity Edge this will give you very big crits and make you hit really hard for thoes fast kills puls it is a high damage resource

Frozen Heart it will grant 99 Armor, 500 Mana and Reduces ability cooldowns by 20% and reduces the attack speed of nearby enemies by 20%. (1000 range)

The Brutalizer which will give you 25 Attack Damage and Reduces ability cooldowns by 10% and +15 Armor Penetration.

• Greater Mark of Attack Damage: Pick this simply, because it gives much more damage early game.
• Greater Seal of Armor:This will help you lane when you take hits, also helps later on at late game.
• Greater Glyph of Magic Resist:There are more AP champs then ad/as in the game so your going to want to get this to take there hits
• Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed:If you like to be able to chase / escape a little bit easier. Also gives you faster movement speed, which you may notice early game where you get to the lane faster.This is your Rune

Fist you should start out with

Decimate -Darius swings his axe in a wide circle. Enemies struck by the blade take more damage than those struck by the handle.
Deals 70/105/140/175/210 (+0.7) physical damage to all nearby enemies in a circle. Champions in the outer half of the ability are struck by the blade, taking 50% additional damage.

Then use

Crippling Strike - Darius's next attack strikes a crucial artery. As they bleed out, their movement and attack speed is slowed. Crippling Strike's cooldown is lower the more bloodied its target.The next basic attack deals 120/140/160/180/200% damage and slows the target's movement and attack speed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds.Crippling Strike's base cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target.Cost30/35/40/45/50 manaRange0

After Crippling Strike they normaly start running thats when you use

Apprehend - Darius hones his axe, granting him passive armor penetration. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.
Passive: Grants 5/10/15/20/25% armor penetration.
Active: Pulls in all enemies in front of Darius.

Then do like 3 auto attack's to get Hemorrhage - Darius aims his attacks strategically, causing his target to bleed.

Then finish them off with

Noxian Guillotine - Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing true damage. This damage is increased for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target. If Noxian Guillotine is a killing blow, its cooldown is refreshed.Leaps to target enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing 160/250/340 (+0.75) true damage.
For each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, Noxian Guillotine deals an additional 20% damage.The cooldown is refreshed if Noxian Guillotine kills the target.Cost100 mana Range460

That is the Best Combo ive found with Darius to get the kill on the first try

Farming

Use Decimate between the warrior minions and Mage minions so you hit the hole groups.By doing this you can farm up a hole minion wave, it is realy helpfull.

Team Work

OK lets talk TEAM WORK with darius. For Team Fights your role is quite simple in team fights, just target the squishiest target first as always and kill them. Darius should come in the fight near the mid fight because if he goes in first he gets CC like crazy and will take alot of damage and maybe die.Try to land as many Decimates as possible on the squishiest targets and slow escaping enemies with Crippling Strike and Apprehend then finish off with Noxian Guillotine or simply just let your team do the rest.He should never be the Tank for Baron why not? you may ask because yeah sure he could take the hits but he will take to much damage and get just above half health which then he could become a EZ target for after Baron kill Ganks.Also I know it is fun to get like 35+ kills in game but you should let your team get kills too so they dont get mad at you and plus leaving a few kills out for ur team wont hurt.Darius is a great Ganker to so you should try to gank at least a few times each match.

1V2's

You are easily able to do 2vs1 with some feeds as long as you are facing squishy targets or under geared targets, but usually 2vs1 is not recommended unless you are 100% sure, that you are able to take on them both, but with my Guide you can do anything on Darius:D
