Draven is quite a unique adc (AD carry) in the way he basis most of skills around using Spinning Axe. The more skilled Draven players try and keep one axe spinning in the lane faze so you can last hit a lot easier and can poke quite well against your foe in the bot lane. Draven has great presence within team fights and closing down with Blood Rush to chase them down use Stand Aside to cc them. Draven's uilt Whirling Death can secure kills from a far or help team fight.
Unlike his brother Darius, victory in battle was never enough for Draven. He craved recognition, acclaim, and glory. He first sought greatness in the Noxian military, but his flair for the dramatic went severely underappreciated. Thirsting for a method to share '' Draven'' with the world, he turned his attention to the prison system. There he carved out the celebrity he desired by turning the tedious affair of executions into a premiere spectacle.
At Draven's first execution, he shocked onlookers when he ordered the doomed prisoner to run for dear life. Just before the man managed to flee from sight, Draven brought him down with a flawless throw of his axe. Soon, all Draven's executions became a gauntlet through which Noxian prisoners raced for a final chance at life. He used this trial as his own personal stage, and turned executions into a leading form of entertainment. He rallied onlookers into a frenzy, while desperate prisoners scrambled to evade him. They never succeeded. Rejecting the solemn, black uniforms of Noxian executioners Draven donned bright outfits and developed flashy signature moves to distinguish himself. Crowds flocked to see Draven in action, and tales of his performances spread quickly. As his popularity grew, so did his already-inflated ego. He belonged at the center of attention. Before long, the scope of his ambitions outgrew the population of Noxus. He decided that the glorious exploits of Draven should be put on display for the entire world.

This sequence should help you quite well early, mid, late game. Getting Spinning Axe at lvl 1 will help you get farm and harass the opposition from a far. I would get Blood Rush if the lane/ jungler doesn't have a lot of cc get, if they do have cc get Stand Aside it will help you get out of lvl 2 ganks and provide cc reduction from the lane.

The reason for having these items in this order to play safe. Having the Gurardian Angel before the Infinity Edge it provides a lot of sustainability within time fights early on.

SUPPORTS THAT WORK WELL WITH DRAVEN
Taric is very good because he can
heal you when you're in trouble
and stun the oppositions adc.
Leona is good because her whole
kit it's pretty much cc which will
help your laning faze quite a lot.
Thresh has pull and a teleport/zoom
ability, knock back, knock forward
and a slow which Draven could use
quite well when fights erupt.
Lulu has a slow, movement speed
steroid, shield, polymorph, knock up
that Draven could use to shut down units.
Alistar's has a knock up and a knock back
which can suppress the adc on the other side
Nunu is very helpful in the way he can give you
blood boil which increases you attack speed and slow
the adc or support on the opposing side with Ice Blast (e).
ADC THAT COUNTER DRAVEN
Varus has quite a lot of range due to his Piercing Arrow which can do lots of damage if he max's that first. He has a slow which is called Hail of Arrows which could stuff up the flow of your Spinning Axes and his uilt which is called Chain of Corruption snares you up 2 seconds which can also make you lose the flow of your Spinning Axes. The reason why varus counters Draven is because he has quite a bit of range and cc.
Caitlyn has quite a lot of range from her auto attacks, Piltover Peacemaker and Ace in the Hole. The reason she counters Draven is because she has a lot of range ability's and damage from her passive ...

Kog'Maw has a lot of range from his Bio-Arcane Barrage which can reach Draven without draven hitting him. Kog has a slow which is called Void Ooze that can make you lose the flow of your Spinning Axe or just prevent you from chasing him. The most annoying thing on kog has to be Living Artillery because that ability can go from 1,400 - 2,200 range, meaning he can poke you from afar without getting a scratch.
Urgot is very strong against Draven in the way his passive Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmenter can reduce your damage up to 15% for 2.5 seconds. He has a ranged ability called Acid Hunter but combined with his Noxian Corrosive Charge which has to hit Draven before Acid Hunter it can reach up to 1000 range, if urgot has activated his sheild which is called Terror Capacitor it can slow Draven on the impact of Acid Hunter. Urgots uilt changes places with the enemy which then slows them and gives myself a bonus armor and magic resistance for 5 seconds. That would probably make Draven lose the flow of his axe/s.

ADC THAT DRAVEN COUNTER
I will give you summary for all of this champions. Some of the characters listed on the left hand side are very squishy, don't a lot of damage early own compared to Draven ( Spinning Axe) and some of the champions are quite slow which Draven can use to his advantage by using Blood Rush.

OPPOSITION SUPPORTS THAT COUNTER DRAVEN
Zyra is very strong because she has a snare and a
knock up that can make you miss you Spinning Axe.
Blitzcrank has a pull, knock up and silence which
could potentially miss your Spinning Axe.
For a support sona has quite a lot of range that can
make you miss your Spinning Axe if you shutter.
Sona's uilt with stuff up everything in its path so if you have
Spinning Axe going you will probably miss it and loose
your source of damage. So it's best to stay as far as you can
away from her when she lvl 6 or greater.
I found taric is one of the most hardest support to verse
because of his stun which stuff's my flow of throwing my Spinning Axe.
One way to prevent you from dying in lane is getting Cleanse
Leona's whole kit is a nightmare for Draven because she as a few stun's
and slows in her kit.
It really depends on how teemo builds. If teemo goes ad well you have an easy
laning faze, but teemo goes ap his "q" which is his blind does quite a lot of damage
which it makes you unable to auto attack for a few seconds which in that amount of time
could be quite crucial.
Thresh has an ability called Death Sentence which can either pull you into him or make himself fly to you which he then can either use The Box that slows you down for 2 seconds 99% or use Flay to either knock you back or toward him depending on the way that he looking. All of those ability's have the chance of you missing your Spinning Axe due cc.
