Dat' Ashe - Fulto's build (Introduction)

Hello all, I have recently fell in love with Ashe and decided to create my own build which works perfectly for my play style. This build is currently made to help carry against AD not against AP heavy characters. I created this with input from some of my high level friends and they like it considering it's my first recommendable build. So please give it a shot, and as always have fun. :P

I feel that Ashe is best used to assist others more then actually carry and kill, so a lot of attack speed works well with her "Frost Shot" when laneing with someone, and the damage helps early with her "Volley".

Runes, Logically

I chose the sequences of these runes for the simple fact that i think her at speed/damage is a significant factor at longer range. Other AD Ashe builds I see focus her runes on damage/resistance but i find when using them, though it helps early game, It is a waste late game since she has a higher focus and still dies pretty quickly.

In turn I have "scrapped" her resistance and focused on more of a carry/slowing assist Ashe rune page.

Masteries, There and Why

The masteries I have chosen are a basic AD Ashe setup, I find they work fine with Ashe and the Defense helps early game and Offence mid to late game. Though this seems to be a regular mastery setup I do not feel as though you need to follow it strictly. I find these masteries are focusing for more starting Ashe users or for an all around setup, others may find their play style doesn't reflect this setup and may wish to change it accordingly. I am a more aggresive Ashe use.

Skills and Abilities

My sequence I have chosen is focusing on the "Volley" skill early and the "Frost shot" mid to late game. Ashe's "Volley" is one of the best harassing skills, it has a lot of range and a wide cone area, good for weakening early game and all around annoyances. My Ashe build is revolving around her "Frost shot" ability. Though Ashe's mana pool is small when used in short bursts her "Frost shot" can slow her enemies enough to get another 2-3 shots off, which may be a killing factor, or assist a melee focus character to move in for the kill.

Early game "Hawkshot" is only a RECOMMENDATION when against a opponent with a cloaking ability (Shaco, Teemo, Twitch, etc). If not against a cloaking character DON'T get "Hawkshot" early, it's passive isn't worth it.

Hocus Pocus

I do not hold a strong preference on summoner spells but for my current build, "Heal" and "Surge/Ignite" seem to work well together. "Heal" is the most all around spell, and has saved me more times then I could count, "Heal" seems most useful early game while laneing with another. "Surge" is the best compliment for my build, and this character. The increase speed boost from "Surge" helps with Ashe's damage/ps (damage per second), and the AP portion help her focus her "Enchanted Crystal Arrow", which is the most ANNOYING ability when running away at low health.

I also find that I tend to swap out my "Surge" for "Ignite", "Ignite" helps when being pushed by a melee character or to finish off a opponent about to run.

Dat' Ashe - Conclusion

I find that the build setup compliments itself in a way that it focus's on Ashe's strengths instead of boosting her weakness (resistance/Health). In turn I hope this guide helps, and I would love to hear some feedback on making my build better.

Thank you and remember,
Have fun.
