Threats to Annie with this build
|Akali||The recent nerfs on her were very devastating to her,she no longer proc her q with her E meaning that she has to AA you to proc it,of course you won't allow her the luxury of bursting you down so poke and harass her down and at level 6 don't hesitate to combo her since she doesn't have any escape except her Cloud which doesn't fully protect her.|
|Katarina||Kat is easily the weakest champ annie can VS with.She requires to go up close to farm and with her recent nerfs on her health,she is very squishy now.Also your ult COMPLETELY negates her ult.Just watch out for her roaming since she can get fed very easily.|
|Twisted Fate||Twisted Fate is veery squishy and he has little to no burst,but one of the things he excels at is at roaming,so if you don't see TF in your lane after 10 seconds,spam mias and go to bot since he almost always ganks bot.|
|Yasuo||Alot of people pick yasuo into annie,which honestly doesn't make any sense he is melee and needs to be able to be close to you if he wants to do anything.Harass and poke him to hell and spam laugh.Ask for ganks to make him mad and he will ragequit after a while,that's how yasuo mains are these days afterall...easy lane easy game GG.|

|Annie is one of the best champions right now to pick up.She does insanes amount of damage to her enemy,her flash ulti combo is very deadly and can literally one shot people with just 2 items.She can stun multiple people at the time with both her W and her R.She can spam Q's in lane without having to worry about mana.Roaming with her is guaranteed to give you or your allies a kill.Also she can be builded with lots of build and still be viable.Also can be used in 3 lanes,Top,Mid and Support.|

- Doesn't do alot of damage to tanky champions.
|While annie is a very good champion,she is really hated and is 95% of the time the prime focus of the enemy team.If they camp your lane multiple times making you fall back,it can really be stressful trying to comeback,especially since even if you aren't that fed you will STILL be focused due to your high utility in tf's.While her AP ratios are good and all of her stages of the game are very good,she needs items to survive,if you are the prime focus of the enemy team you would want a zhonya,if you you're getting camped in mid mid lane you would want to get a rod of ages,you (without damage or in overall items)are just a little girl with an AOE stun.One of the things annie is good at is assasinating squishies,one of the things she ISN'T is dealing damage to tanky champs.Especially if they build MR against you.|
// Stuns your enemy every 4 spells cast
// This passive is what makes you annie,this passive is why people loathe you and put you in your to-kill list,every 4 spells you cast you get an aura around you which means you are ready to kill some scrubs.Combine this at level you for a quick Q+AA+W+AA combo or do the famous level 6 burst.
// Launches a fireball at the enemy
// This is your main spell for poking,bursting,pushing,farming,stacking and killing.So pretty much this is everything.Use this to last hit while gaining stacks in your passive.Also don't forget to use it to poke melee champs with this.
// Deals AOE damage in a cone.
// This ability is the one you will be using to waveclear and to combo other champs.It has a 85% AP scaling so it's very good to use it against minion waves.Try using this ability to punish your enemy for trying to farm.It has the same range as you AA so it's very easy to land.Also use it before a teamfight if you don't have you passive ready as it gives you a stack in your passive aswell.
// Gives you a shield that gives you both armor and magic resist.It also acts as a mini thornmail,damaging anyone that hits you.
// This ability can determine life and death,it gives you 10 armor and magic resist at leve 1 which in early levels is considered good enough.Use this to get free passive stacks due to it's low mana cost and also use it as a waveclear if you don't want your minions to get hit by the tower.
// Summons tibbers in an AOE radius and deals 20/30/40 AP damage in an aura.He can be controlled pressing R again.
// This ability is what makes annie so good,tibbers in teamfights is absolutely devastating due to his aura and if timed at the right exact time,can stun the WHOLE enemy team,of course that's just the initial damage,pair that stun with a W and a Q to the enemy ADC's face and you'll probably get a penta or just ace the whole team.Remember to Zhonya if you go all up to the enemy's team face and drop the bomb in them.You can also command tibbers to ward an area or to check a bush.
You max Q first since it's your most damage dealing ability and your poke.Feel free to max E second if you are using a tanky build.If you are going support,you can take at level 1 W first and then either max W first or Q first for poke and ect...

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
- Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: Standard Quints for any ap Champion. You can get scaling CDR or MS quints if it suits you.
- Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: Standard Marks for any AP Champion. You can switch to Hybrid Pen if it suits you.
- Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power: I like running these glyphs since combining them with my masteries makes them even better.Also because since you build tanky in the build,the scalin AP can make up a bit for missing burst.Which is what you want.
- Greater Seal of Scaling Health: These seals make you tankier through the game,which is important for annie since she tends to dive in the middle of the team to burst squishies.
Masteries and Explanation
I like running these masteries since they provive you with good poke and enough sustain in lane in case you get too much poked.The Double-Edged Sword and Arcane Blade mastery is really necessary to annie since she has a long range with her AA and it also helps her burst a bit at level 6.Even if it's just a little just take it,who know's that 1% would mean a death for you,and your potential of snowballing the lane.
// You probably already know what masteries are,but i'll explain it in a very short sentence."You gain a point every time you level up and you can use that point to put it in the Offense/Defense/Utility tree which is exactly what it sounds like.Offense deals damage,Defense is...well defense... and utility is used for safer laning and more sustain in lane."
Tier 1 // I take Double-Edged Sword to increase my poking damage and deal more damage trading.That extra 2% is really useful even if it isn't that much.It could literally mean that decision between if you get the kill or don't.Of course the only downside is that you get poked 1% more but you are annie and that shi* should never happen unless it's a poking annoying *** like Xerath. Sorcery is to increment my CDR so i can spam more skill efficiently in lane and get closer to the ever so dreamed 40% CDR.Annie's Disintegrate has a very low cooldown already and combined with 5% extra CDR,then there's really no stoping you on getting those last hits.
Tier 2 // Mental Force gives you more AP late game,that with your runes combined gives you a very slight advantage at later stages of the game.Who know,maybe those extra AP could of killed someone.
Tier 3 // Arcane Mastery gives you 6+ AP...nuff said.Those extra 6 AP is really useful in lane too and like i said before,your enemy can escape with 2 HP and you would of have wished you had atleast 1+ AP. Executioner is practically made for you,you burst down alot faster enemies who are low in lane and especially if you are level 6.There's no reason to not get this on annie.
Tier 4 // Archmage gives you 5% more AP.So practically any mastery that gives you AP IS WORTH picking up on ANY mage. Dangerous Game .Let's imagine that we are playing annie[We are afterall],we see an enemy Lux with 30% of her HP sitting on her turret and you are level 6 and she is level 7.You instantly flash towards lux and she snares you and e+r you.You successfully kill her and flash out of the turrets range,but oh my god one shot got out free and is coming straight at you,it hits you and you close your eyes since it's literally the worst feeling ever.But you don't hear Annie's Death scream...you open your eyes in wonder and see that your annie has escaped with with 8 HP left.Thank you based Dangerous Game ,you have saved another midlaners life.And then Jinx Super Mega Death Rocket! hits you and you AFK due to you smashing in your PC.The mastery is a lifesaver and is practically the reason why Faker's plays are so amazing.
Tier 5 // Devastating Strikes gives you 6% armor and magic penetration which in short words translates into deals more damage.Anything counts in the offensive tree,from last hitting you kill your enemy laner. (if none, skip)
Tier 6 // Havoc increases your Damage by 3%.And by damage i mean all sorts of damage.And damage is good in any nuker (No shi*,sherlock) so just complete your damn tree and go on with the next one which is...the UTILITY tree!
Tier 1 // I take Phasewalker because of one reason,i'm not sure what i hate more than being interrupted at the last second of a recall,other than that i fuc*ing hate AP Malphite.But no one cares about that.That one second of reduced recall can save your nexus or can save your from an approaching enemy.I only take 1 point in Fleet of Foot
since while annie is very inmobile,when don't have to neccesarily build her to be mobile,our boots and Luden's Echo in our item build is already enough mobility.Of course,you can remove a point in Phasewalker or something else so you can be more mobile,but it's just preference.I put 2 points in Meditation since annie doesn't really depend on mana,since her Disintegrate refunds her mana when it's used as last hitting so she doesn't really run out of mana.But it's still nice to have since you don't want to be waiting 10 minutes in lane to charge all of your mana.
Tier 2 // Summoner's Insight is GREAT on annie since she really depends on flash to be available so her bursting and roaming chances increase alot.That paired with your boot enchantment and you will have flash in shorter time than your enemy. Alchemist increases the duration of Potions and Elixir's by 10%,that 10% in you health or mana pot could be really useful so take it,anything increased by % is good so don't question it.
Tier 3 // Culinary Master is a really great potion in early game since it instantly gives you 20 hp and 10 mana.While the mastery is useless in later game,it can really save your *** at early game.
|The standard boots that you should run in every mage.You can get CDR boots if you feel like those CD on your abilities are a bit long and you want to become a CDR tank,which i haven't tried btw so if you feel confident,try it and tell me how it is.|
|You really should rush this,it gives you a HUGE health and mana boost and every minute it increases,it makes you very tanky and it also gives you nice ap.Overall a very nice item for annie.|
|It gives you 70 ap and 35% MP and while it doesn't offer anything else,it's still VERY useful,you can deal more damage to tanks and if the ADC build MR against you,then this negates ALOT of the MR.Build it,don't question i|
Laning Phase and How to play against AP/AD Mids.
Cloth Armor + 5x Health Potions, Crystalline Flask + 2x Health Potions or Doran's Ring + 2x Health Potions is what you want to start against an AD mid if you want to be safe,remember that all of the AD mids are melee (with an exception of Jayce if he wants to stay in cannon form) so take advantage of that and poke and harass them,but what makes them so great is their burst and overall nice waveclear so even if you completely dominate them and they aren't a complete idiot,they will still be able to do damage in teamfight's and they WILL take revenge against you,that's why we get an early Zhonya's Hourglass so they don't burst us down as much and focus someone else,but by the time your zhonya is done that ad mid will be killed by your tank line since they wasted their skills against you doing nothing.
Boots of Speed + 4 Health Potion or Doran's Ring + 2x[health potion]]s is what you should start against nukers.These type of champs are just like you and do the same job that you do:Eliminating Squishy's and deal tons of AP damage.They are very dangerous in laning phase and they all get to a certain level where they get alot of kill pressure.Try to stay away from them when they reach a certain level ( LeBlanc LVL 2, Veigar LVL 6, Brand LVL 6, Vel'Koz LVL 4 AND 6).Watch whenever they leave their so you can spam MIAS and go help bot.Also when in TF's watch out by them because they will alway try to focus the squishy's like the ADC or you if you are caught out of position and are too squishy.You will alway be tempted to build Abyssal Scepter due to it's stats and and passive which helps you out A LOT,build it and also build a Zhonya's Hourglass y'know...cause you absolutely need it,just build it everytime dude...
MAGESAthene's Unholy Grail or a Tear of the Goddess.Annie is,of course,weak to some mages like Xerath, Orianna or even Malzahar,but when they go OOM is when annie giggles with excitement and proceeds to kill them merciless. Annie also has to be very careful since she isn't really that mobile to avoid poke and react fast to quick spells like Swains Nevermove and Malzahars Call of the Void.In teamfights,if someone else has already killed the ADC,then go straight to the mage and kill them since they are EXTREMELY good in team fights,they can silence,root and focus you or your ADC while dealing tremendous tons of AP damage.This is why i also take Zhonya's Hourglass since if you are gonna focus the ADC or the Mage and they are all the way to the backline,you gotta flash+ult combo them and you will be in the middle of the entire enemgy team,zhonya's can save you and if someone is timing your zhonya then you will still probably survive since with the builds i'm providing you make you veery tanky.
Tips and Tricks
Every 4 spells cast you get a 1.25/1.50/1.75 second stun in your next offensive skill: // This is a really simple and OP passive,this is why people hate playing VS a Annie,this passive is why you shine in TF's.Be careful when you have your stun ready as it provides an aura that enemy's can easily see.
Disintegrate: // Throws a fireball at your target.
- // Use this to last hit,doing so refunds your mana cost and half your cooldown in your Q
- // Use Q and E when you are at 2 stacks to stun your enemy without having to use any other skill.This requires you to activate your E when your Q is in mid air.
- // Your Q has a very short CD so abuse that to outpoke your enemies.
Incinerate: // Deals AOE Magic damage in a cone
- // You can charge this in base if you are gonna go invade or want to start more aggresively as a support.
- // The animation for incineration is alot shorter than than actual cone,take advantage of that as it has the same range as your AA
- // Your W is capable to stun 3 people at the same time and sometimes even the whole team,use this in TF's if your tibbers isn't up.
Molten Shield: // Gives you a shield that offers you both armor and magic resist.Enemies that hit you will take additional damage to them.
- // Use this to tank a minion wave so you can clear it faster.
- // If you have your tibbers summoned,use your E to give him and significant MS bonus and making him hurt alot more in TF's.
- // Always use it to gain free stacks as it has a medium CD duration.(Note:This will not stun an enemy so don't worry about using it as armor/mr while thinking it'll waste your stun)
Summon: Tibbers: // Summons tibbers in an AOE whatever-its-called dealing magic damage when landing and can be controlled using the R or CTRL key.
- // In laning phase,when you get your tibbers at level 6,you instantly become alot more powerful,so use your combo (Flash,R,Ignite,W,Q) and if they aren't dead,haven't flash or they are still trying to kill you,1 more or 3 AA and they are dead.
- // Tibbers can stun an entire team if used correctly,remember to use your tibbers in tf's when you see an opportunity to stun more than 3 people.Or if you can,stun both the adc and supp.
- // Tibbers can block enemy projectiles such as Jinxs Zap!, Thresh Death Sentence, Blitzcranks Rocket Grab and more.So use this advantage to block certain death situations.[[Note:I recommend using it after you engaged since using it before you engange leaves you without a VERY important skill.
