Hello & welcome to my first Mobafire guide where I hope to help you play my new favourite champion (after much anticipation), Diana
I've been playing Legends for a few months and used Mobafire religiously for all my champion builds, eventually as I got used to the game I was able to build my own champions to respond to the enemy team and how they were building - I am sharing this now. I believe adapting to the enemy team is extremely important and as a result feel free to change any of the items as and when the situation requires it. The items I have chosen I have found to be most effective thus far (but this is subject to change as I spend more time playing Diana).
As a primary jungle player I find Diana extremely fast at clearing and a very present threat to the enemy team during the lane phase more so after level 6. More on this below.
Please feel free to comment and leave any feedback, this is my first guide and I expect a lot of criticism but will respond and adapt where I believe I can.

I understand it's early doors on Diana at the moment and some people are struggling to build her to her true potential - this guide although incomplete in my eyes should provide a base to establish your gameplay on. I will update this frequently until I believe it is at a high enough standard to aid players of all skill levels.

Always start with Boots of speed and 3x Health potions. The boots will speed up jungle farm allowing you to get to assist lanes sooner, they will also help ganking / chasing down enemy champions (especially those without any boots).
If you can afford these on your second trip back - great, if not make this the next purchase.
I've included this item because it increases the damage using Diana's passive. I have replaced Rod of ages with this item as I believe it to be a much better choice.
HP, some AP and a great slow to help chase down those enemies and spam Lunar Rush.
Even more attack speed to land your passive, and strip the enemy of their magic resist whilst doing so! A great addition to our kit!
Massive increase to AP - whichever way you build Diana this is a must at some point in the game. I don't rush this because as a jungler I need to the survivability from HP items.
For your last item - I have intentionally left this blank as to reiterate what I said at the beginning - be situational! Build your 6th item to whatever you need!
I find that Diana gets focussed and burnt down pretty fast, this will help you stay alive long enough to bring down a squishy, then after they've killed you - take out the next squishy in one combo!
Here's a few useful ideas though;
I have ordered these abilities in what I believe to be the most efficient way to protect yourself whilst jungling and bring the pain to the enemy when ganking.
Your second ability, use this to pull creeps and cast your shield after they begin attacking you. Never cast your ultimate without Moonlight on an enemy unless it is a guaranteed kill!
Provides your shield which will take a majority of damage whilst jungling - ensure you use this AFTER you have started attacking the creeps to make the most out of it.
This makes you one of, if not the most dangerous jungler in the league! When ganking DO NOT use this until your enemy has either flashed or close to their tower. Using it straight away is a waste of the utility as it does no damage!
The icing on the cake! This ability will teleport you to the target enemy dealing damage. Only use this on targets effected with Moonlight as it will reset the cooldown and we want to keep this ability available at all times!
Runes & Masteries
Greater Mark of Attack Speed
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Ability Power
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power
I have chosen the runes almost entirely as recommended by Riot detailing below the reasons behind the choice. I believe that runes are mostly down to personal preference of play so feel free to adapt.
Allows Diana to trigger her passive more often making jungle clearing a breeze.
Will provide you with a small amount of armour to catch any damage taken when your shield is down.
& Attack Power means pain to your foes!
I use a 21/9 layout which allows me to bring the pain and stay defensive enough not to take much damage from the creeps whilst jungling which is needed due to the lack of any sustain.Make sure to smite as often as possible for the extra 10 gold.
To sum it all up...
Diana excels at jungling far more than in any other role with her brilliant toolkit of abilities and if played correctly can keep the enemy running at all times. It's still early doors for this champion and I expect I will alter this guide through it's lifetime as people learn to counter Diana and we learn how better to utilize her passive.
