Introduction

This is a guide for mid lane Diana, Diana being an AP assassin makes her a great champion to lane mid. This guide will show you the build, masteries, runes, and include some tips as well.

Runes

I usually go with 9 greater seals of Potency, 9 greater glyphs of Potency, 9 greater marks of shielding considering you will probably going against another AP, and 3 greater quintessence of insight.

These masteries have a high ability power output, it helps both in early and late game.

Items

These items offer very high ability power and magic penetration, they are extremely helpful when going mid lane, the malady is used to activate your passive ability faster, Kage's pick can help with gold early game, Lich Bane is used late game because at the time you will have a high AP and your basic attacks will be devastating combined with your passive.

Tips

Tips
Use your Q to poke the enemy champion, because it arks and passes through minions, you can use it to farm and poke.

If an enemy champion is getting close to turret use a combination of your E and W to bring him close, slow him down, and do some extra damage.

While Diana can leash the buff's easily for your jungler, helping with wolves is its own issue, because of your passive you can easily steal the wolves from your jungler.

If you must help with wolves then count how many times you attack, I've learned you can get one passive in without killing the wolves.

The best skill cycle to use (After level 6) is Q,R,W,E, repeat.

While your R does refresh when you hit a target afflicted by moonlight, always save the 2nd charge for a flash, ghost, or any other escape.

Diana's Passive ability is essential to farming, attacking, and team fights. While the malady will help activate your passive more, remember to time and plan your attacks so it can hit as many target as possible.

While Diana is squishy she can make up in Power and mobility, you can use you R to juke enemies, your W to shield yourself if needed, and your E to slow them down and interrupt casting.

Diana is useful in team fights because she can focus down targets easily, interrupt casting, stop escapes, chase, and hit multiple targets with her Q and passive.
