Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
hello good old ppl this guide will hopefully help you learn how to use Fiddlesticks in Dominion you must understand that he is strong early and mid game. I'll explain how that is in this guide, as well as how he is not all that great late game.Well lets get to work here =)
Ok i really think why i did what i did makes sense but lets go through it any ways.
1.Why wait till 10 for well easy its a farm skill. Sure it has a silence, but not all that great.
2.Is not as effective for a heal in Dominion You have a nerf for heals on that map.
3.Is by far a very useful tool for this map. This skill should be lvl 2 b4 you see fighting.
4.For this map it is an ok skill you might get a triple or more but do not expect it. If u get them to spilt up, and get 1 or 2 kills from it. Then it was spent good for that fight.
Now you max out Drain first if there are a few enemies around you try to Terrify one and Drain another hopefully an ally will be close if not already there. Your Crowstorm is good for jungle ambushes on the fly or later in the game to dive a group of enemies at a tower. If a ally has Garrison hope its on cd cause then your team can take that tower a lot easier. Just remember if play right early game late game they will be scared of you and target you until you are dead. By the time you have Dark Wind you should have enough ap to do some damage even when the skill is only level one and that is when it's useful to pick off the runner.
A good sequence for skills i like is
Into a group of enemies
try to fear the hardest hitting dps they got
the closest squishy there
the group if they are still bunched up or the runner(s)
1.Greater Quintessence of Ability Power it's quite obvious why you would go for 3 of these. map has a buff for magic pen more ap is good right now
2.Greater Mark of Magic Penetration 9 of these is more than enough added magic pen now. Hell u could change the runes to Greater Mark of Ability Power but that is only an added 6 ap or so and do not forget is a magic reduction champ
3.Greater Seal of Health I go with 4 of them it's an added 20 health and it can help early game
4.Greater Seal of Armor Do 5 of these it gives you 7 armor and the ones you need to worry about most early game are the ad champs
5.Greater Glyph of Ability Power Go 9 all the way good ap there and you need it for your Drain
Over all you will see that it is a balanced rune set up for early game and like i said before for Dominion Fiddlesticks is an early and mid game champ. the rune set up helps a lot early game
Mastery Tree and Summoner Skills
For the mastery's basic ranged ap set up. The faster your summoner spells are off cd the better.
Now i pick
I like Ghost cause the map is small with four speed pads for a boost that can stack up for you. And Flash for the ability to get away for enemies or get the runner. You could go for Garrison instead of Flash that is a very useful tool if used right. Or you could replace Flash with Ignite for that stronger early and mid game and then for runners late game. I like to say it all depends on YOUR play style what summoner spells you go for!
now what ever summoner spells you go for just remember to use them as much as you can without wasting them this map is far from classic so think Dominion
These are your six items you want a balance to it and I'll explain how that is with these items
1.Prospector's Ring Is a must for early and even some mid game. The pluses from is too good to pass up.
2.Sorcerer's Shoes Your Mpen do not forget that. These will help give you that umph mid late game.
3.Rylai's Crystal Scepter Life, AP, and a slowing effect. You be dumb to not take this.
4.Abyssal Scepter Is more of a late game item. All for the reason to still be able to help out in fights
5.Morello's Evil Tome You all played Fiddlesticks in classic right? Then you all know the blue buff is god for Fiddlesticks well no blue buff so CD Reduction we need
6.Rabadon's Deathcap The AP boost you need for the game
now start off with Prospector's Ring and Boots of Speed try to cap mid for the gold then go top. Hopefully when you back you will have the gold for Giant's Belt and Sorcerer's Shoes but if you don't have the gold for both think what would be more useful at that point go by how the game is going. After you get the shoes and belt get the rest of Rylai's Crystal Scepter ASAP! By this time its around early mid game you will need the life and AP. The next item depends on how the game is going you either get Fiendish Codex OR Needlessly Large Rod Decide which one will suit you better for that game AP or CD Reduction. Cause which ever one you pick, finish the item you will build out of it. For Fiendish Codex make Morello's Evil Tome for Needlessly Large Rod build it into a Rabadon's Deathcap. After that build the other one which ever route you went. Now the Abyssal Scepter is the last item you build unless you want to replace Prospector's Ring But for this item its about the little AP with the Mpen. Well mainly for the Mpen. If you can (and i rarely see it) want to swap out Prospector's Ring for something feel free to. Just get what will help out the most.
Now that i have explain the items, runes, skill order i hope this gives you an insight on how to play
in Dominion. Just keep in mind this guide was made for experienced players. By that I mean people who know how to play him and are good with him.
