Priscilla's Blessing

Priscilla's Blessing is a must have item in my opinion, it adds some health regen, which will help with your squishyness, it's active is a movement speed buff if is insane with a good cool down, but granted a short duration, stacks great with Ghost and speed shrines for amazing backdoor strategies. Which leads me to my next point

Dominion is largely about capturing points, so why would you want to neglect the one item in the game that gives you a 15% capture speed bonus? Along side with it's other effects, you'll find yourself chasing the other team around the map neutralizing and even capturing a lot of points, while securing a far amount of kills

Introduction

Welcome to my nocturne dominion build guide. I've enjoyed some pretty good success with nocturne, the only game I scored 3rd in the picture was because I was trying some new build options, and an AFK player for the first 3 minutes of gameplay.

Pros / Cons

pros:
Capture points over enemies dead bodies
Clear out lanes of minions is seconds and easily push points
Able to move around the map quickly with speed shrines and his ult
His ult and general play-style work very well with the greater relic in the center of the map
Great burst damage
Spell Shield
Fear

cons:
Until you build a lot of life steal(and even a little bit after) you are a little squishy
Likely to find yourself in many 2/3v1 situations, some of which will end in your death(but not with out killing them and keeping your point safe while your team gets another)

Skill Sequence

Pretty normal build sequence for noct, take all three right away, max out Q, then E, then W, taking points in R as possible

For those of you not familiar with nocturne I'll give a run down of nocturnes abilities and how they go amazingly well together to take a champion from 100% to 0% hp.

Passive - Umbra Blades is amazing for minions farming, it does modest damage to a wave of minions close to each other, as well as heals you pretty well. Great for minion farming.

Q - Duskbringer is what make nocturne so scary, it is a skill-shot path of darkness that deals massive damage to minions and champions leaving behind a dusktrail, in this dusktril you move faster and do more damage, furthermore if you hit a champion with the skill shot they also leave behind a dusktrail for you to chase them and use your E, but we'll get to that

W - Shroud of Darkness on top of a passive 20% speed increase right off the bat(5% increase per point) will also help greatly against CC, and heavy burst abilities if you use it right. When you activate it and and block a spell, the passive bonus is doubled.

E - Unspeakable Horror makes nocturne hard to run away from. Use your Q to chase down enemies while you use your E to do some damage and if you keep it active throughout fear them and mow them down with basic attacks

R - Paranoia is nocturnes ultimate move to blind the enemy team to your movement, but more usefully it has a dash (with limited range so make sure to mouse over to check that you are in range to pounce on your target) to a champion. This is very useful if a lone enemy or even a group if trying to take a point, even if you die you can stir things up long enough for your team to go and capture another point to keep the enemies nexus ticking down.

Ok now for an example:
Say there is a lone champion defending the windmill, you would R in, W right away to absorb the spell he is inevitably going to freak out and cast, doubling your passive attack speed bonus, quickly followed by Q/W combo for damage burst and fear, and with a fury of basic attacks he's dead and the point is yours to take. This is why I recommend Priscilla's Blessing pretty early on, for the 15% capture rate and health regen, makes it so you can capture the point and start pushing minions down the lane right after a push.

Items

1st shop:
Boots and Prospector's Blade are my first two purchases.
2nd Shop:
Followed by Priscilla's Blessing for increased capture rate, and another movement speed buff :D.
3rd Shop and after
From here you have some options. I've gotten Ionic Spark and it's been good(mostly against minions though), but I'd recommend Kitae's Bloodrazor if you are serious about bursting down champions.

Then the next thing has to be Sanguine Blade for the life steal and attack damage, at this point you have a lot of dmg output as well as life steal, so your next order of business is going to be speed, I'd recommend getting Mobility Boots so you can get around the map capturing points like the enemy doesn't even know.

The last item purchase I like to get a ruby gem, upgrade it to Phage, then upgrade it to Entropy, at that point no one can out run you, or dps you fast enough to get past your life steal.

Summoner Spells

I feel like Ghost and Promote are the best two spells for this game mode. Ghost will help you move around the map as well as get that first point faster than the enemy team for that first extra couple of damage. Promote is good for after you've cleared a few waves of minions in a lane you can neutralize a point promote and go grab another point while the enemy scrambles to get their point back.

Farming

Use your Duskbringer your passive to clear out minion waves in less than a second late game(this is where Ionic Spark can be a good build option if you need that extra minion burst)

This is good for two reasons, if you get a lot of minion kills it allows your minions to push the base, and you get a pretty reasonable about of gold for it... And nocturne is so damn good at it.

Unique Skills

I think one of the things that makes nocturne so useful in dominion is Paranoia. You can capture an enemy point, and then quickly ult in to defend a point of your own. It's also useful to note that his ult in combination with the center relic is more than deadly, and will empower you to win even 3v1 if you play your cards right.
