As of the latest patch this build is now out of date an doesn't make any sense anymore because of the rework on Nether Blade. DPS Kassadin was fun but now......its just a thing of the past.

Decent guide, but you failed to mention the best thing that makes him a viable DPS character; His passive. Magic Damage he receives (30%) gets converted to Attack Speed. Meaning if he gets hit with a 500 damage magical spell, he receives 150% Attack Speed. This makes him an extremely viable DPS champion, and should be noted in your guide.

I'm voting up simply because, I like it. It may not be consistent or viable even, but it's different. Having played Kassadin a bit myself, I know the damage is actually kind of crazy with this build. The survivability is a bit rough, and it totally takes Kass out of his element as the "anti-mage" But I like to see different things. I once played around with a tank Akali build, which was surprisingly hilarious, although I didn't kill many people. Remember people, it's a game, and a game is about having fun. Sometimes, having fun is just about surprising your opponents with a wtf AD kassadin.

I've never had a problem with mana......EVER you have nether blade? with your insane attack speed why would you need mana regain. I can already tell you didnt try out the build because that comment is completely wrong.

This build is way to mana hungry. Using Heal+Clarity is not enough to make up for the overall squishiness of this build. Consider manamune for mana as you'll be attacking a lot, and more items that combine armor/MR&damage/AS.
