I'm not necessarily wanting off-tank runes, I just want runes that are making up for the problems Nasus faces early game. I agree that flat armor would be great because he has a very low base armor, but amazing armor/lvl (15 at lvl 1, 3.5 per lvl which gives in a natural 74.5 armor at lvl 18). So if you want more early game survivabilty, you're jungling, or are tired of being first blood because their physical carry negated all your armor at the bot gank on 3's, get these. But I'll stick to my mana regen for now.

As for Bloodthirster, My build order makes it seem as if I'm getting this extraordinarily earlier, when in fact, I don't expect this item till lvl 12-16. I can't usually finish my Trinity Force until lvl 10-11 because it's so expensive, but at this point, you want straight up damage. If you aren't dieing in the first place, this things damage is ridiculous (+100 with all 40 stacks, which is actually 250 extra damage on your Q), the lifesteal is just a bonus.
Additionally, I have a vendetta against Phantom Dancer/ Infinity Edge. These items belong in a crit build (which this isn't). I'm not saying these are bad items, but I'll save them for use on a squishier AD carry like Ashe or Vayne. Nasus is bulky enough to, with the help of a bloodthirster, take down 3 other champions before dieing.
If infinity edge + phantom dancer is your style, then build it. But it has no place in my play-style. I will add a couple item recommendations for these items and explain them though.

Thanks for the jungle advice, I've been waiting to try this til I'm farther along in my runes though.

you want off-tanky runes, right?
my recommendations for nasus are:
armor pen marks (you already got these)
flat armor runes with mabey 3/4 flat mana/5 runes
flat mr or mr/level runes (again, got those)
and armor pen or flat hp quintesences.

your items: Bloodthirster kinda gets you wayyyy too much ls to be worth it early game, since it's just about as good as Soul Eater, which you already have. a better late-game item. Infinity Edge is a good item, but would be better if you added some phantom dancers or yommommu's to the mix. 250% crits are all good, but better if you can knock the more reilabily and often. you should really get wither early, especially if you want any chance at a first blood, which can set a game. the rest of your items look good though.

your summoner spell explinations are good.

just... for some reason i've never seen jungle nasus. would like to see if it works. might wanna try standard ww type builds, as his passive is like yours and siphoning would have a field day in the jungle.

Awesome, I like the newer guide since you have a core item set which you MUST buy every game (good selections) AND a comprehensive amount of optional items which is great since you need to keep your options available.

I haven't finished the rune page yet, like I said, I'm kinda guessing on the runes, so I really don't know how his mana regen is without manamune. I currently have the 5 flat MP5 runes.
And regarding the skilling. Spirit flames is a great move, but the armor shred doesn't increase significantly per level (only 5 with each point). If I put more points into my Q, it's easier to farm it up. However, I do see you point. With even just 1 or 2 more points in spirit fire, you can have more lane dominance. This build was intended for use in 3's though (I guess I forgot to write that), so I usually only have 1 person to compete in lane with if I take top. This makes it so I don't have as much need for AoE lane dominance as single target lane dominance, hence maxing my Q.

The way you have skilled confuses me. If you are taking a solo lane, like you should, you are going to get pushed around. Leveling Spirit Fire is just as important as your other skills. Also, mana should not be a problem late game. Even without Manamune.

To tell the truth, I hadn't actually thought about Frozen Mallet. I do see you point though, I'll give FM a try and see how it works. Thanks :D

I feel that the bloodrazor is a bit insubstantial since you will get better results killing people with a Frozen Mallet. Permaslow baby!

Also a Bloodrazor is good on characters with high AS but you only have a Trin and a Bloodrazor, so how do you expect it to pay off?
