This is the basic build for a dps nautilus

There is may builds which can be effective but i found the most effective build is to play defensively until the enemy is alone or extended to far, with this build it would most proverbially get kills at lvl 4 but most effective when lvl 6.

The reason for the hp is because of his shield gaining the benefits, with is the attack speed and hp will allow for Titan's Wrath to deal additional damage more to a single target, nautilus can focus carries easy if all the skills and spells are timed perfectly.

As nautilus may engage focus the carries/squishes using your dredge line to connect with the enemy then Titans wrath right after and ur passive will root allow a few more hits and if target escapes using flash or some skill the use depth charge to chase down and finish ( if not, dredge line should have cooled off cooldown so use and repeat process of harassment )

Tank Items are for survivability as they will most likely focus you, if the enemy is smart.
