Ryze is known as a Ability power DPS. But after a few matches building him as physical DPS, my eyes have been opened. Ryze is one of the best physical DPS heroes in LOL. If you are used to Ability power DPS Ryze, I suggest trying this in practice games or bot matches first. Once you dominate those games, feel free to move onto unranked or ranked games.

The items:

Start with a Vampire scepter, this is to maintain some life while in your lane, it is mostly to build into your Stark's Fervor. Beserker's Greaves follow, nothing out of the ordinary for a physical DPS build. Next is the Black Cleaver, this is the meat of your damage and armor penetration. A Wits End gives you additional attack speed as well as some damage. A Sword of the Divine gives you more attack speed and some magic damage in case of a tank stacking armor. Finally, if a game is lasting long an Infinity Edge pushes you over the edge. If you are getting killed too quickly, you can get a phage/Frozen Mallet instead of a Sword of the Divine.

Tactics:

Early on you aren't going to be doing much, besides helping set up ganks and farming. Your Spell Flux is great for farming I suggest using that to farm and Rune Prison to set up ganks. Later on, assume the role of a normal physical DPS, gank *****es and get kills in a team battle. As long as you don't die a lot early you should end up going something along the lines of 11/2/8.

A lot of people will question you early on, just say "Trust me *****, I got this in the bag" or call them gay. Either one will work. Hopefully my build works for you. If you try it, please leave a comment and rate.
