I recommend trying out a vamp scepter and going wolves->blue->rest or wraiths-red-rest. Starting out at blue is not optimal.


NEVER NEVER NEVERNEVER start with a vamp scepter. That is by far the worst possible way to jungle mundo.

Thanks for feedback. I know Jhoijhoi's guide and I used it on my Yorick guide. Maybe I will completely rewamp this guide. I should since it's being popular though. :D

I just thought I'd mention that in your mastery tree, you have a point in Utility spells, when you don't actually pick up any utility spells (As you do Ghost/Smite).
Should change that point into reduced recall time.

just one change instead of using "Summoners insight" in masteries which has no use for Mundo since he doesn't use any of those spells. Use "Improved Recall".

Looks really nice, I should consider testing this out on a normal game, I think its even better than my Mundo guide! Btw, you should test maxing out burning agony first when jungling, it also works well and maybe include it as another build :)

Haha I'm loving this build. Instead of phantom dancers I get tri force due to the insane stuff I'm getting, almost all of which Mundo uses. AP for his W, some minor AD, some minor attack speed, minor movement speed, health, and the slow. The main thing I wanted was the slow, but I felt a frozen mallet would've been a waste of damage. The passive for extra base damage works well for mundo to counteract that and still give me some extra durability. I become basically unkillable by the time I'm building up my atma's. Thank you very much for this guide because I am now officially a kickass jungle mundo. My first "good" jungle mundo game (I used to suck with him) which was good because of this build had me at a K/d/a of 25/5/10

No offence dude but this is really not a great guide, a riggels lantern on Mundo? Are you kidding me? And the whole Infinity Edge + Phantom Dancer seems almost like a troll build?!

Sorry but i have to agree with this o.O
ie+pd+wriggles mundo.. wth
i just start with cloth armor + hp pots and go for warmogs+ spirit visage, or whatsoever and works great for me.

where do i begin?

well lets start with the build, it is ridiculous, and i mean that in the worst possible way. you must be under the false idea your going to be fed every game cause there is NO WAY your going to finish that build otherwise... honestly it reminds me of my old poppy build. if you were laning mundo i guess i could kinda see you going this route, but your jungling. jungling EVEN WHEN FED dosnt get a lot of cash. not to mention by end game your just going to end up getting melted before you can do anything cause your not even close to tanky. this looks like a gangplank guide not a mundo guide. i geuss it COULD work but its just so reliant on getting fed. also mundo has a LOT of natural damage, his E gives him 100 AD for 5 seconds at level 5 for instance. his q does at least 280 damage at level 5 and even his w does 100 damage a second at level five. mundo barely needs any form of damage on him to be relevant in a fight. the best part is he does a LOT of magic damage and a decent amount of physical with his abilities ALONE. i see no reason to go glass cannon when he already does massive damage.

second off, what the hell is up with your mastery trees? okay so you decide that instead of getting indomitable, veteran scars, and even the health regen one, you would MUCH rather have... evasion? and honor guard? hell even initiator to an extent. its like your preparing for late game with your mastery's, and not even thinking about early game... honor guard is only useful late game when over 100 or more damage is being thrown around every second or so, and by that point you ARE NOT going to notice the difference. honor guard is quite frankly a noob trap you would be better off putting into resistance. even worse is evasion, 3% sounds nice until you realize that it has to be an area affect ability and even then that's only 3%. the main reason you get indomitable and veteran scars is for that early game jungling, it makes it so you end your route with much more health.

speaking of your route, yours is bad. this isn't the old jungle you need to utilize your jungle more then once. fast clear times are more important then clearing your entire jungle. let me put it this way, by the time you got to red, i would have cleared the wraiths twice and been on my way to blue. i would even have to WAIT in order to save myself some health by being able to smite blue (my smite would be at about 20 second cd) not all junglers can start at a small camp before going to a buff, but mundo is one of the ones that CAN, not only can but SHOULD. he clears the small camps in seconds, you would have plenty of time to walk over to the buff after clearing the smaller camp.

lastly i may be jumping on the band wagon here, but spell vamp runes really make his jungle better in most every way. it makes your clear times amazing, you can start with boots and 3 pots (the best way to go on any jungler that can) and you end your route with MUCH higher health. this is really opinion though and honestly out of all of my points this is the one i care the least about. i think spell vamp is the best way to go (i actually have 0/18/12 mastery's) but I'm sure non spellvamp isn't that bad either.

nice try but i think it needs a lot of work
