I just laned against an Olaf as Kennen, and I think Kennen has a major advantage over him because he's ranged, and can kite Olaf all day Pre-6 with stuns, then easily zone him so that it doesn't matter if he has Wriggle's Lantern or not to heal. Even post-6, if he has his ult to run through the stuns, it didnt help because of Kennen's speed boost. In short, Kennen basically has free damage onto Olaf and bullies him hard out of everything. I'd level Q and over time I'd start shoving to your tower. I'd probably start regrowth and rush a philo / CD boots / Warmogg's. If Kennen tries to all in an Olaf, it's dangerous. Olaf can turn around and kill most champions when they all in. If not, Kennen will be on his tower last hitting with skills instead of harassing :P At least, that's what I would try to do. But I saw some people going for Shurelya's Reverie, and some pro players too ( Dyrus, Wickd, ... ). I tried it myself and it really fits Olaf well. CDR, MP5, HP5, Health and the active synergises extremely well with his ulti. What do you think about it? His mechanics are pretty poorly designed in my opinion. I do play a few Vlad counters, like Tryndamere, but there just aren't many. Olaf CAN contest and win this lane SOMETIMES. But if you fall behind early due to ganks you stay behind forever. You'll need to evaluate how aggressively you can play when picking Olaf, he's aggro by nature.
