First thing I do is get a Doran's blade and rush to bush control, goes either way for T,T or S,R with the 82 damage I start with there is almost no char that can match the damage of Judgement. on T,T if gank looks like it is gonna happen I inform my team not to move till one runs into the bush so I can get full judgment on them, if they don't have flash it is pretty much a FB no matter what. On S,R I just chill in bush till the opportunity presents itself to jump on them. If i am the person to pick up FB I rush Boots of speed and go top solo depending on team in T,T or back to lane on S,R. Usually i am considerably OP at that point with the damage and being able to outrun almost any Champ. After i farm up enough gold to finish up Boots of Swiftness and another Doran's blade i go back to shop. (note: use bush control constantly to get a decisive advantage on any champ early I.E. bad idea to run into a bush that Garen is sitting in.) I play extremely aggressive early, Using every opportunity to either kill or seriously damage my opponents making them back. I only really have a problem soloing Champ's that have a flash abilty other its pretty easy. Usually at about 9-11 min i can get brutalizer and at that point its almost gg.
At this point i am very strong AD wise and considerably durable with my built up armor and MR from the effects of courage. At about 12-14 min i go shop and pick up a BF Sword and possibly crits for infinity edge. I am almost always gonna get the kills at this point with the combo of, Silence, Spin and DJ, which can make your team very mad but you can pretty well end the game by yourself on T,T after you pickup infinity and Youmuu's, after about the 17 min mark I go back and shop selling picking up a full sunfire making you un-killable. Remember bush control and gank often at this point running lanes is pretty easy and you wont miss much on your lane if you gank every time you get it pushed. Try and save DJ for near the end of the fights if you can picking up the last guy that is more than likely running from you.
At about the 20-25 min mark depending on the game and how everybody is doing I go back and shop again selling one of the Doran's and picking up either a Phantom Dancer or a Black Cleaver your choice what to get first if you are playing against a tanky team I recommend picking up the cleaver, if you just want to be able to continue catching the running opponent I say pick up the phantom. This is were you should try and end the game and if that doesn't work for whatever reason go back to farming or getting kills to pick up you last item selling the last Doran's to make room for it and it should be GG than for sure. Late game Garen is not as good as early so remember to get ahead of your opponents early by playing aggressive. GL,HF and remember "BUSH CONTROLL".
I get flash and exhaust so that I can close the distance and slow the enemy enough so that they take all the damage from the combo that I spoke of earlier.
