Threat Champion Notes
2
Jhin Ekko is great at gap closing, so once you get really close too him, hes dead. Also, use Phase Drive to get get out of the range of his ult.
2
Jax He's only good in a sustained fight. Out maneuver him, keep your distance, and burst him down.

Introduction

Ekko is one of the strongest AP assassins in the game, and, if used correctly, one of the strongest assassins in general. He has and excellent kit, but relies heavily on items to do damage. Most Ekko guides basically tell you to go full AP. While this can be fun and very powerful, it has a lot of flaws that become apparent after you play Ekko for a while. Im not making this guide to trash full AP Ekko, but I am going to describe the flaws in it, and how my build corrects these flaws.

Ability Overveiw

Z-Drive Resonance: Ekko's abilities don't deal a ton of damage buy themselves, but if you line them up with the Z- Drive, you get massive damage output. However it can only be activated 5 seconds on the same champion, so dont count on it to deal all the damage. Ekko's Q, E and R all apply Z-Drive.

Timewinder: Timewinder is and amazing ability, it slows, deals damage, and apply's 2 stacks of Z-Drive. Usually, I use this to poke the enemy champion in lane, disrupting their farm, and chipping them down. Don't just throw it out whenever it cools down, wait till it can be used to take out some minions, and/or hit an enemy Champion. It has a high mana cost, and it can drain you quickly early game. Keep in mind that on its return, it returns faster, and deals more damage.

Parallel Convergence: Utilize this to it's full potential. If your about to go into a fight, fire this off to stun your target, and if you cant do that, the shield is still very useful. You can use Phase Drive to dash into it before opponents get away.

Phase Drive: This is a very versatile tool. It can be used to enter a fight or escape from one. Try to use it once the enemy champion has 2 stacks of Z-Drive on them to maximize the damage. It can also be used to doge abilities, like Jhin and Lux's ults. When combined with Gunblade and Lich Bane, this just gets ridiculous.

Chronobreaker: Probably one of the best ultimate's in the game. Incredibly versatile and with a low CD, it is deadly. Some people think it can only be used to re-engage, or escape from a fight, but that is just not true. One way I like to use it is if I'm stuck in a fight with someone, and we're both at low health, I wait till the last possible second, then boom. Chronobreaker. If it doesn't kill them just like that, well, there still ****ed because now you've got more health :D. This is probably my favorite ability in all of League.
