Hello, summoners; welcome to my realm. This is a guide for one of the most creative champions to date: Elise, the Spider Queen.
Her utility is unquestionable; two forms grant not only damage, but also a great deal of versatility.
Her early damage and harassment is tremendous, so this build is to focus on getting an early game advantage so you can capitalize on her strengths.
Overall, she is fun to play, has a tremendous skill cap and allows you to become a man-eating spider whenever you feel like it. So join me, victims; enter my web.

Runes
Without Further Ado
Built to take maximum advantage of your early strength, these runes will allow you to lurk through the jungle, striking fear into the hearts of the enemy.
Greater Marks of Insight:
These will provide the Magic Penetration that any AP Caster needs to be effective at maximizing their early game damage, while still providing damage later on.
Greater Seals of Resilience:
The extra armor provided by these runes will be incredible in the jungle, soaking up much of the damage that you would otherwise have to endure. Also provides survivability for ganks and such.
Greater Glyphs of Potency:
Potent indeed. These runes will give you incredible early game damage, allowing you to spar with the mightiest of opponents. Remember, these are designed to take full advantage of her early game; if she can have a great presence early, she'll be a monster.
Greater Quintessences of Potency:
Slap these bad boys onto Elise and there will be cocoons of dead enemies strewn throughout her forest. Gives her incredible early game ganking potential and power. Pull the strings; Make the.

The Mastery setup that I use is a 21/9/0 build. It is designed to not only make her early jungle more potent, but also make her a terror in the later periods of the game.
It provides survivability in the jungle by taking reduced minion damage; plus, the point into Executioner makes your already present assassination move (Venemous Bite) much more potent.
- Taking the usual AP Carry route through the Offense tree is a wise choice. Focus on taking more Ability Power, Cooldown Reduction and the cherry on top; Executioner .
For the defensive side of things, be sure to take reduced minion damage in the form of Tough Skin and Bladed Armor .
