You get Lichbane too early. Get Sheen, but then build other AP items before upgrading. The bonus damage of Sheen is 80% of you base AD (AD from items doesn't count) which for Elise is about 40-80 damage (at levels 1 and 18 respectively). Lichbane instead adds damage equal to your AP, but if you rush it you'll only have 95 AP. So if you're around level 10, the damage would increase by about 35, but you paid 2100 gold for the upgrade. Hey dragatus, thanks for the constructive feedback, great advice, I will have to tweak it around a little bit to make it more efficient. so you would recommend getting sheen and then begin stacking other AP items, makes a lot of sense, I'll change the item order around slightly, much appreciated! |

Yes, that's right. Get Sheen for the extra burst, but then get some more AP before upgrading to Lichbane. Rylai and Abyssal should provide enough AP for the upgrade to be worth it. Author of How Stuff Works: Elise the Spider Queen, an in-depth guide for

The reason I applied a wriggles lantern to this build is due to early game farming and jungling, as you will be using spider form for the majority of you melee based attacks, the lifesteal, damage + armor fit's in nicely with the armor bonus from spiderform and the lifesteal compliments elise's 'w' which is a minor built in heal, let alone a built in ward. I believe this item works fantastic with elise early game, I am sorry that you disagree, however I have shown gameplay and it's uses in my description to why it is viable on a hybrid champion. |
