Runes
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: // Elise is really good at bursting down people, so your opponents would probably start building MR at mid game when your dominating :p so i recommend these marks so you can do some damage to them.
greater glyph of Force : // This helps get the most AP for late game teamfights. These are really good to use as it gives SO MUCH AP at late game. Esp. when your level 18 .
Greater Seal of Armor: // I just use these as sometimes the adc will target me and i gain a little armour. You can use greater seal of Warding since its mid lane, but yea use any.
Ability Explanation
Neurotoxin/Venomous bite (Q): // This ability is like the bomb. Build as much AP as you can, and this ability will be Jayce's E. This ability does a whole bunch of damage if used correctly and really rapes the **** out of tanks!
Volatile spider/Skittering Frenzy (W): // This is her main nuking spell, it basically chases an enemy and if they're not fast enough, it will ****en explode so much at their face. Skittering frenzy is what makes Elise sustains in her lane because of the healing effects.
Cocoon/Rappel (E): // Cocoon is very important because once you land it, it's game over for the stunned enemy because of her amazing burst damage. Rappel is really useful when your chasing down a low enemy and if your close to a wall you can use your rappel to jump over walls to wraith camps.
Spider/Human form (R): // Her spider form helps her sustain with bonus MR and ARMOUR and what's even better is that you get spiders that do a lot of damage.

: // Magic pen will be needed in late game as enemies are gonna build some MR. Gives you some more speed as Elise is pretty slow, even in spider form.

: // alright this item is really good for Elise, first of all your spider form's q. Jump and slow, seems legit. and basically gives her some sustain, ap, and some cc.

: // This gives you some MR and gives you some AS, which you'll need to stack your spider form's W. Works really well as it's passive gives you some magic damage per hit.

: // This item gives Elise some speed which she really needs. This is also really good as Elise is ranged and that she can use this skill with her E in Spider form, one jump and an autoattack could kill a low health enemy.

If your going to try kill anyone, here's a really nice combo that'll be so fast, your enemies gonna be mindblown.
HUMAN FORM > E > Q > W > SPIDER FORM > W > E > Q . ignite.
Always land your E. because it has a long cooldown and you don't it wasted so always play it smart and be calm.
do a quick Q to W in human form because you want the most damage output out of your q and if you dont damage them with your q first then there might be some damage that couldve been done if they live with 50 hp or something. Im exaggertaing lol.
