plus, what is hybrid in this guide? full AP is not hybrid, hybrid means to "mix" two builds, in case you don't know

Take note of the original build order, heavily emphasises her attack speed and ability power along with it. Her basic attacks gain damage scaling to her AP while in Spider Form, so the build i took on her is similar to a supposed "hybrid teemo". There is nothing strictly AP about this build. If you thought i was going for a strict AP you would see much different item choices than Nashor's Tooth, Malady, and Hextech in the early game.

To be honest i took your post quite seriously at first and appreciated the comment, but after looking at other guides i noticed you placed the exact thing on nearly all of their discussion boards, so i'd appreciate it if you could put more thought in than copy and pasting before posting.

EDIT: Updated the alternative item choices and builds. Added a new section to the guide "Item Alternative - Analysis" to help you choose your counters or situational items better. Any more suggestions please be sure to make them and i'll do what i can, hope the guide has helped some understand this new champ. Expect videos, screenshot examples, and more coming once i get the chance.

Thanks guys, i'll be adding more alternative builds for alternate roles in pretty soon with credit to Teyso with pointing them out to me. I'll try my best to expand the guide from solely Hybrid Elise to more styles of the champion. Good luck and have fun to those trying their hand with this guide, looking forward to hearing some results and more feedback on it.

Great job formatting and such :) I upvoted. Consider changing it to require comment to vote so that people (at least the first bunch) will have to explain if they downvote. If it's a troll vote, they will look stupid, or maybe they will give good reasons and ideas on how to change/improve the guide.

Updated the guide top to bottom with coding, imaging, etc. Hopefully it's a bit easier to read now and i hope you all will try your hand at it. If you see something i haven't or have any suggestions then leave them here and i'll get to it! Looking forward to see how many people enjoy this build as much as i do.

Thanks for the feedback guys! At the moment my power is actually going off and on due to the hurricane, but as soon as it's back expect some updates on the guide. It is the way it is at the moment mostly due to me being eager and just wanting to get it up haha. But you both brought up great points that I am actually pretty happy to get the chance to correct. And thank you teyso for the link, I've been trying to find out how to add all the links before I put more stuff in to avoid confusion haha. Expect in the first update item alternatives, counter items, rune/mastery alternatives, and role building. This build here is actually more for a solo top Elise since I view her more as a counter pick to tanky or durable top lane champs. Again, thanks for the feedback an ill address it all in the guide as soon as I get the chance! Looking forward to more feedback, especially from those who try out the build!

All that Teyso said is highly valid. Your guide is on it's way, but needs some vamping up ;)

I would like to compliment with some info myself:
  • Nashor's Tooth and Malady are deceptive items in terms of how effective they seem. Malady is, at best, a first item, but it is not really as effective as it seems; Wit's End does it's job better (the MRes shred is irrelevant). An item you may consider on a Hybrid Elise instead of those two is Trinity Force: it gives you mana, ability power, whenever you cast a spell your next attack will deal extra damage thanks to the Sheen proc, and you have an inbuilt slow chance;

  • Starting with Boots no matter how much escape your champion has is always a good habit. Yes, you have Flash besides your rappel (in case it went on cooldown), but think about it: boots also allow you to get in and out as you harass, and if your opponent also has boots he can harass you with targeted spells with more ease. Also, having Flash is no excuse for putting yourself in a bad position;

  • The bonus from the utility tree you're having at the moment isn't really that relevant: if you're going mid, try a 21/0/9 setting so you get Runic Affinity (the bonus time for having a blue buff is amazing, and you get more movement speed thanks to Swiftness .

  • Finally, as a guide writer, I suggest you give the readers more combos/neat stuff they can do with Elise's skillset! I never actually played her, and just by reading your guide I didn't learn that much about what to do with her skills ;)

Keep up the good work!

Hello there!

Your guide reads very well, and has good use of color for emphasis. It looks promising, so keep at it and I'm sure you'll have a shot at climbing the ladders for Elise! :D

I'm really happy to see a skill strategies section! many guides just explain what the abilities do, and expect the player to figure out combinations, but you actually took the time to give some examples! Great job :)

While the text reads well and you have included color, that is not quite enough to win most readers attention, and they will shy away from walls of text. Add some coding, columns and lists to improve your chances of impressing your readers. Check out jhoijhoi's guide to making a guide for help on how to do this.

For Elise to be able to survive in a fight, she will need Magic Resist, or enemy mages will easily burst her down. Add some form of magic resist to your build so that she can survive in fights.

Consider adding more builds to show alternate paths, some items work better mid than top or jungle, and vice-versa. Also, armor seals will not be as useful Mid unless you are facing an AD champion, so if you make a Mid build, Magic Resist Glyphs might be a good choice, or keep your AP glyphs :)

Consider adding alternative item choices, because some of those items will not work against some teams. EX: if you are dying a lot you may want to sub out the Malady or Nashor's Tooth for some tankier items. Frozen Heart could be an alternate for Zhonya's Hourglass (gives more CDR). If you intend to use the zhonya's, consider going more the route of a caster than a DPS: EX: Void Staff instead of Malady, so you still have Magic Pen. I'll leave the rest of the creativity and item crafting to you though, since it is your guide.

Summary, if it were my guide, this is the do-do list I would use:
  • Format more.
  • Add some Magic Resistance.
  • Use separate builds and tailor them to their roles.
  • Give the reader more options with items and runes.
  • Conclusions are a good way to wrap up your guide, so use one! :)

I'll reiterate, great job so far! The guide just needs a little more oomf. PM me if you'd like to discuss ideas. And PM me when you've made some of these changes, I'll come back and Upvote you!

Best Wishes,
Teyso
