I play everywhere. and i gonna show you my way to play kog maw.

This is a old guide when i played about everything, including breaking meta and "meta-items"... and i'm still breaking it o/

Forgive my poor english, i'm French.

PROS
-Exelent range with W
-his passive can finish ennemies, cause its true damages.
-his ult have exelent range . and revals hidden ennemies, good for checking bushes, checking objectives, etc.
-His Mid/late game with my build is simply ridiculous. 2800HP 100MR/ARMOR. you lack a litle bit of damages but your sustain is too strong for assassins.
-Exelent burst, can face a assassin fed if you farmed well on your game
-exelent mid-late late utility by sniping with R
-you still deal good damages with tank'maw


CONS
03/07/2014 : now i found Q useless on laning phase, it may have good range, but its now a skillshot, and its by simply staying behind minions that you lose damages (high chance to fail with minions)..
-lil hard to play.
-Gonna get flamed with my ANTI TANK build. "omg noob kog bad stuff l2p" > 12-2-8...

She is ap, cute, give shield and boost movement speed. with your Q she can deal more damages!
The cute bot lane is the deadliest.

Thresh

Exelent

He can save you from many teamfights, is tanky, you can make plays with lantern :D and deal magic damages, so with Q its good.

03/07/2014 : thresh on plat level is exelent, i see many good supports now and i found thresh great with kog, he can engage, save you, disable fights, etc. thresh is love, thresh is life.. or death.
Blitzcrank

Really bad

This robot gonna kill you in any moment if you are playing against a kha zix, leona, udyr, jayce, or others bad things to hook

He can't protect you, he don't give shield and sometimes stealing minions from his passive.

I don't recommand blitz with kog maw, bad synergy.

Leona

Good

She is a tank support with ap damages. one thing
Kog maw runnan, leona use ult on 3 ennemies > AA, runnan active her passive, and you deal more damages!

She can engage, making plays, stuning a ennemy for 3 second, you can place you safely with Q R and W.

But she don't give shield and MS, but she have a good synergy with him.

[ACTUALY IN UPDATE]

Runnan is a exelent item for adc like Kog/twitch

It applies on-hit effect, like W for kog, and passive for twitch

70% attack speed + mutiple damages.

add it with BotRk, cleaver, and frozen, and its massive on hit effects that piss off ennemies.

sadly it cost a litle bit too much.. but his passive can make you a huge splitpusher/defender in any situations

LW gives +40ad and 35% ARMOR PEN.

its good for adcs, but it sucks for kog, 'cause his damages are most AP than AD. so he don't profit to this 35% armor pen.

Clevaer gives
+50 AD
+10% CDR
+200HP

+10ARMOR PEN
Plus +25% stacked 5times on ennemies.

+200hp for a litle more hope to survive in fights

+10% CDR for spaming.exe

Now we can talk about a ****ing adc that ruin every tanks.

clever.

Chogath against kog? easy. kog wins.

he can't instakill you with this build, even ap. and you will kill him for really far away

In teamfights clever can help your team a lot, for everything.
